Lipper International 4-tier Mini Desk Organizer, Brown

Small. But sits neatly on our end table and does a nice job of holding my 'stuff'. Perfect for pens, pencils, nail files, lip balm, small remote controls, and any little thing that gets used regularly, but sits in a pile on end tables. The only thing that was 'iffy' was that the drawers fit in two of the slots only. Neither one fits into the middle slot nicely, both of them stick badly; so the empty slot in mine, is the middle slot. Not such a big deal that I would take away a star, just sharing info.

I actually got this as a makeup organizer! I felt it was too small to use as a desk organizer as you cannot fit papers and such on top.It stores my makeup products fine. Once i get too much make up and expand to a larger organizer, i will use this to organize office supplies such as sticky notes, white out, and paper clips. If you are just using this for supplies like that or pens an pencils (can fit in the drawers) then this is a good purchase for you. Do not get if you plan on fitting full sized documents in the two top compartments.

This is not nearly large enough to hold any amount of paper. Even a grown up stapler would be too big for this thing. So as a Desk Organizer, you probably couldn't fit much more than some pencils and maybe one or two travel sized items.I bought my desk organizer to put in my kitchen and store my tea bags. I have so much tea it's kinda weird. If this desk organizer was just .5 inches wider, I could fit three tea bags in a row easy! Unfortunately they get a little smushed. That's not to complain though. This drawer set works very well! The open top is great for larger items. I put two glass jars filled with tea leaves right on top. Also, one of my biggest pet peeves is when you buy a dresser or any type of drawer-organizer and the drawers are sticky or get stuck easily making it difficult to open and close them. Luckily this bamboo set does not have the wheels to keep the drawers attached to the box. They easily slip in and out making it a much more efficient and easier to use little box!Just make sure you have something specific in mind to put in this before you purchase it because if you're buying it to organize your desk I don't think it'll turn out much cleaner o_o

I (wrongly) assumed that these would fix 8.5 x 11 inch paper....since they were displayed in my Amazon search for "Desk Organizer" along with this product's supposed competitors...all of which were clearly big enough to store stacks of regular paper, mail, etc. (although made out of cheap pressboard, plastic or cardboard)! Since I liked the bamboo, I thought "oh, perfect!"But it's not perfect al all....it's basically useless because of the small size (my own fault for not looking at the size dimensions more closely)....I would not have purchased it (actually 2 of them!) if I knew they were this small!What can I possibly use them for on a typical office desk??? The shelves are pretty useless except for maybe storing a couple of pads of mini Post-It Notes.The drawers are equally non-useful....maybe I could dump in a few hundred paperclips (which are already stored nicely in the boxes the come in)....but try storing a pen that's longer than a basic Bic disposable? Or a ruler? A standard pair of scissors? (See photos....none of those things will generally fit....even on a diagonal in the drawer!)....and anything else longer than about 5-6 inches is similarly out of luck. None of those items would ever fit....even on the diagonalForget about a 12 inch ruler - won't fit at all anywhere on this thing.So how does this product help me organize my desk clutter? NOT AT ALL.It's built quite nicely...and it's very solid.....I just wish that it had some value for people who work at a real office desk (since it is name on the packaging "4-Tier Desk Organizer"....maybe they should brand this as being for children, or arts/crafts, or something OTHER than a "Desk Organizer". I am honestly trying to figure out if I can find a single use from my desk that will not be too big for these "mini" organizers (I can't even use it to sort the mail, because it's too narrow to hold any envelopes).I definitely don't recommend this product unless you have a very specific use in mind (ie, something very small).

I purchased this for makeup storage. I checked the dimensions prior to purchase but was still really shocked when it arrived. SO much smaller than I had mapped out in my head. For example, if you place an iPhone in one of the drawers, it will fill about 80% of the drawer.So .. PRO's and CON's:PRO's: It is really well made. Nice sturdy wood that is well constructed. The drawers are easily removed and are interchangeable between the 3 openings (i.e., you can have space, drawer, drawer, or drawer, space, drawer, etc.). It is lightweight and easy to move around and it has a nice flat bottom for sturdy standing. In addition, I actually saw this on Staples.com for more than a HUNDRED dollars (seriously .. I even double checked). Makes the $25.00 price I paid for it easier to swallow! For my purposes, although it is quite small, it CAN serve its intended purpose and holds my makeup quite nicely.CON's: It is too small to use for the purposes for which it is advertised. It would not be suitable to hold mail; it is not large enough to hold even letter size papers. Advertised as a "desk organizer", I can't think of too many things on my desk that would fit in this unit.In summary, the quality of this little set of drawers is top notch. I think it would be great for makeup or for crafting (holding buttons, thread, colored pencils, glitter tubes, etc.). Anything relatively small could easily be sorted and stored in these cute little drawers. Just be aware of the small size before you buy and you'll be fine.ADDITIONAL INFO ON SIZING: Due to a question I received, I measured the drawers of the unit again. You will notice two sizes -- the measured size and the "usable" size. The interior of each drawer has a somewhat thick "lip" which eliminates some usable area. My measurements (and this is just for each of the DRAWERS -- not the overall unit) are as follows:Drawer Height = appx. 1-1/2" with full usable space (no "lip" on the height)Drawer Width = appx. 7" with about 6-1/2" usable spaceDrawer Depth = appx. 4-1/2" with about 4" usable spaceUpon looking at the advertised dimensions again, I can say that it is NOT accurate as listed. I do still believe that this is a well constructed, very sturdy little chest and for various uses it would be very helpful and convenient. However, it is important to report that the sizes listed are not correct. The actual unit will be noticeably SMALLER than shown or advertised.

This small size is just perfect for what I need. I ordered one and liked it so much I ended up ordering another. The unit is well-built, and if old reviews are accurate, there has definitely been an improvement in quality control. The drawers slide nicely without wiggle, and they are well-constructed. They are thin, but that was why I liked it - not too bulky for my desk. The joints are glued, but tightly fit - there really isn't a good way to nail or staple this size wood without splintering and breakage issues. They're not holding lead weights, so they should be fine.In my pictures: the colorful stack on the right open shelf is a stack of standard post-its (3") that are not slid all the way back. The plastic bin in the left open shelf is a repurposed deli-meat container. The pictures are "messy" and not showroom, but they show my use perfectly. And this is how they will look on my desk. I needed them to actually hold things. The drawers hold pens and pencils (and other assorted items), which is just perfect for me. They will NOT fit 8.5"x11" paper, but they will fit notecards and postcards nicely. I opened a couple drawers to show examples of space. The pens/pencils are papermate click-type (for sizing reference). The binder clips are the mini ones, but a couple large refill packs fit in there.All in all, a great purchase.

I really wanted to love this cute little organizer. As others have stated, it is small...smaller than I expected, but still usable for the intended purpose. However, when I received the item, the whole back was broken off from the rest of the unit. As always, Amazon customer service was quick and helpful and I was promptly sent a new one and provided a return slip for the broken one. Well, I received my new one, and it has the same issue, only not as bad. The back piece is slightly separated from the rest of the unit and not fully detached as before. Might be fixable with some glue? I don't know. It's just poor quality all around, which is really disappointing when you get 2 defective items in a row.ETA- after less than a month of use (i keep it in my bathroom and store makeup in the drawers, brushes on the "open" drawer area, and small perfumes on top) the entire thing fell apart. Both sides completely separated from the back. I was able to glue it all together...but I would never purchase this item again and would be wary of any products of this brand.

Though it's a little smaller than I'd imagined, this item is almost perfect for my home postage area, where I can put stamps in the drawer, my little postal scale on top (I emphasize little), and my self-inking rubber return address stamp on the top, also. I mounted it to the wall, and installed some key hooks underneath. I'm going to buy another one, for other items in the pockets of my trousers (jacknife, mini flashlight, etc.) I can put my driving glasses on top of the second one, in addition to my cell phone (I have a flip phone...call me old fashioned....) I'm going to buy a few more of these for Christmas presents for my friends and family, too.

Me encanto!! Tengo un escritorio muy pequeño, por lo que tengo que optar por usar cosas pequeñas y que me ahorren espacio. Las medidas en sí son: alto 21cm, largo 19.5 y ancho 13 cm. Viene distinto los cajones, es cajon, espacio, cajon. Es perfecto para guardar mis cosas de papelería, el material se ve resistente y el color es muy bonito; luego me compro otro :)****Actualización al día 15/Febrero/2018**** Me compré un segundo organizador, pero lo usé como joyero, sin querer, se me cayo uno de los cajones y para mi sorpresa, uno puede acomodarlos como quiera!! Eso sí que me gusto :)

Wonderful workmanship and just the right size to keep all the little bits and bobs you need while doing the bills, etc at hand and looking extremely neat and tidy at the same time. Wonderful product to use for anything small you need to keep close but neat and tidy too
