I just received these today, and they are beautiful. I cannot speak to tarnishing, but they definitely are 12 oz cups, though they appear to be smaller, probably due to the style. How to measure? Fill it to the top and pour into a marked measuring cup. Twelve ounces. I bought them for the bathroom. Tomorrow, I shall receive the matching pitcher. My plan is to keep the pitcher, filled with water, on the table with two of the "glasses" to drink throughout the day.

We bought these cups for outdoor dining - we needed something unbreakable but wanted to avoid plastic. We are very happy with the purchase. There cups are beautiful, elegant and have a lovely weight in your hand. We've experienced some very mild tarnishing on the interior on some cups since we started using them (they arrived about 3 weeks ago), but this is to be expected and is not in any way objectionable. The exterior has maintained it copper shine beautifully (we do expect some patina to develop over time as is normal with copper). We hand wash them with regular dish soap.

These cups are a little bit deceptive with their size; they look a little small at first, but you soon realize 12oz was just right. If you have thirsty little ones at home, these cups are perfect for smaller hands, healthier for them than plastic, and most importantly... Indestructible! The quality of these cups are on point. The textured surface give it a bit of style, and the rim of the cups are smooth making it comfortable to drink from. Do your family a favor, and add these versatile cups to your cabinet!

Nice and sturdy and thr design makes it easy to hold.....water stays cold

These tumblers are shaped to fit perfectly in my hand. They appear small, but can miraculously hold 7 cubes of ice! They stay cold too (I didn't expect that). They wash easily and feel great on my lips. Stylish and functional, they highlight the beverage flavor without influencing it. Best to use coasters underneath.

Tarnished and green/brown within 1 day. We have purchased this and the travel tumbler and this product turned green and brown after one use while my bottle has never had this issue. Not sure what the difference is but would not recommend, even though it's part of the process I feel it should take longer than a day to turn colors.

They seem like OK quality but they are definitely only 8oz. Returned due to false advertising.

Part of my health ritual. Just looking at the lovely copper cups and covered copper water filled jug reminds me every day to drink my mineral infused water quota for the day.
