Works to play old tech on higher tech tvs.
Convert RCA to HDMI , picture quality is pretty good when videos were shot with plenty of light. In low light it gets grainy.

Works Great for Panasonic 3DO FZ-10 System with SVideo Output to 4K TV
This little device allows you to connect Old School Gaming Consoles to a Modern 4K TV with Beautiful Results. The picture is Super Clear and sharp and the Colors are Amazing!! I bought this to play a 1996 Panasonic 3DO FZ=10 Console on a Modern 4K TV and it works Perfectly. This device has the Rare S Video Input feature that most converters don't have. The picture is Fantastic with bright colors and sharp images. The picture quality is Never going to be as good as a modern Xbox or PS5 of course but for something from the 1990's an old Retro Gaming console this device works great!!

Surprising Performance for Retro Video Game Consoles
I was initially skeptical of this device working well for my use case. These types of converters often do a pretty bad job retaining image quality and introduce a ton of input lag, but I was desperate for a cost-effective Plug-N-Play solution so I thought I would try it. Before I share my thoughts, please note—I only use this device to hook up my N64 to a more modern TV. I did test it with a few other consoles to make sure it would work, but I only turned them on to make sure it properly displayed an image—I didn’t play long enough on every console to make sure that it ran well. If you run a setup different than mine, your mileage may vary. With my N64, I got a cable that had S-Video and tried both the RCA Composite and S-Video inputs. The S-Video signal is far superior and is definitely the way to go. With that said, this device does NOT make the image better quality than what you put into it or improve the image in any way. I am also certain that this device adds input lag, however, I struggled to feel a significant difference from when I had the system plugged in directly to the TV. If you are a pro, speed runner, or someone who is sensitive to input lag you might feel this more than I do. But, if I am being honest, this device exceeded my expectations in that regard. For picture quality, it is worth noting that the red tones a just a bit over blown when using this converter. This is made worse when using composite cables, so I would highly recommend getting an N64 AV cable that utilizes S-Video if you choose to go this route. Also, the 720p/1080p options are nice to have, but one or the other may not work depending on the device you are trying to run. Final thoughts: Build Quality: 4.5/5 - Sturdy Aluminum case and nice LED indicator lights and switches. Ease of Use: 5/5 - very easy set-up. Picture Quality: 3.5/5 - it doesn’t improve the image in any way, and the red is a bit over blown. Input Lag: 3/5 - it does add lag, but it doesn’t feel as intrusive as other devices I have tried at this price point. Additional Features: 4/5 - this device has some extra features that many other devices at this price point lack. I will be pairing this with an HDMI upscaler to see if I can get even better results. Stay tuned!

RCA TO HDMI
I have an old hand held video game with red , white and yellow RCA Jack's. 8 bit game. Tried everything out there to go from RCA to HDMI. Nothing would work it. Decided to try this unit. Actually was my last resort. Worked perfectly. So happy to be able to play it again. I would buy again if needed. No problem with sound. Cost double than what I paid for the game. But worth every dollar to me. Thank You for A great product.

Connecting 1980s and 1990s stuff to a UHD TV
This little box connects some old stuff to my UHD TV over HDMI. First connected an old DVD player and it worked with both RCA cables and S-Video. Good picture. Easy setup. Next challenge was connecting my 1994 Apple Macintosh 660AV with its S-Video out signal. I try to use this old computer every few years, just to see if it still boots. It works too! Just have to hold down 4 keys when booting to switch from monitor out to analog S-Video out. Saves hauling out the old heavy Apple monitor to play with the old Macintosh. The EASYCEL RCA Svideo to HDMI Converter works as expected and well. The converter is not visible in the photo, but it is there and it works. Like all modern such things, so small. Only negative is the small buttons on the back.

Works perfectly (no picture shift)
I had a few cheaper (composite to HDMI) converters from Walmart and every one of them would slightly shift the picture. (But only ever tried a TV not a monitor). No matter what I did to the picture, it remained shifted til I just got used to it or stopped using the HDMI port and converter itself. This one gives me a perfectly centered image on my TV... Like it's supposed to.

Junk - 0 Stars
First and foremost, WILL NOT convert an S-VHS signal to HDMI. Will process a standard (lower quality) VHS signal to HDMI via the composite (yellow) video cable.. Bought this item to transfer S-VHS to HDMI. Package came WITHOUT an HDMI cable. Product booklet says, and I quote: "Required but may not be included in the package: 1. HDMI to HDMI cable. 2. Composite cable. 3. S-video cable. If the composite, S-video, and HDMI cables are not included in the package, you need to purchase them separately." I supplied my own HDMI cable, but could not get a video signal through any S-VHS cable that I tried. Thankful for Amazon's Return policy. Avoid like the plague.

Installation Notes and LED statuses
Unit works very well. User Manual is OK but not very detailed. Installation suggestions 1- Setup the converter first and plug in the supplied power cord. Power LED should be Red. 2- Power on the attached composite device. If connections are good then the power LED should be Blue. 3- Change the input on your TV to the appropriate HDMI input. 4- You will need a good view of the TV screen and access to the two push buttons on the converter box. 5- If no output on the TV screen then press the CVBS/S-Video button to toggle outputs. 6- The output format (720p/1080p) will display on the top right of the TV screen. Press the Output format button to toggle between the two formats. The screen will temporarily go blank for a few seconds as the new format change is processed. Use the one that gives the best output. The converter will remember your settings for all subsequent uses. Note that you may need to change the output settings on the VCR/Game/Disc Player to get the best picture. Hope this info helps.
