The Kinvoca charging grip exceeded my expectations in both comfort and functionality. The ergonomic design fits naturally in the hand, making long play sessions noticeably more comfortable compared to the standard Joy-Con grip. The extra stability is especially helpful for action or fast-paced games. The built-in charging capability is a major plus—you can charge the Joy-Cons while they’re attached, eliminating battery worries and keeping everything ready for the next session. No need to dock the controllers each time. Build quality feels solid, with a secure fit for the Joy-Cons and smooth attachment/detachment. It’s lightweight yet sturdy, making it a good option for travel as well. Overall, this grip offers an impressive combination of comfort, convenience, and reliability. A highly recommended accessory for any regular Switch player.

This was the most cost friendly, charging grip controller for the switch generation 1 controllers. I was concerned at first because it did not say if it could use off brand switch controllers and people also mentioned that the controller slip out easily. None of these were a problem. My offbrand switched 1 controllers were able to connect. It took a little bit of time, and they were confused at first but with patience they did connect to the grip and began to charge. I was also able to get my Switch 2 console to recognize the controllers on the grip. The product comes with its own charging cord, which is great. The light at the top is red, telling you that it is charging the controllers. When it turns Green, The controllers are completely charged. There is a lit up section on the front that indicates whether your controllers have connected or not to the charging grip. It also tells you the battery life of the controllers as well. It’s a great product and I’m able to use these switch Gen one controllers with my switch two Game console. The controllers slide in and out easily and do not feel like they’ll fall out when I pull on them. Ergonomic grip is comfortable upon playing. Would recommend for the price!

Works great and is easy to charge by just plugging it in.

The 6' cord is sturdy and nice. It works best for me to recharge the controllers when I set them down after a gaming session. Although you can use the controller while it's plugged in, the plug (for me) often comes loose, even with just the slightest movements. If you want to re-wiggle/re-plug it back in every couple minutes, that's certainly possible, but kinda annoying.

Why is it that nintendo hasn't made something like this? Honestly it is a great thing to have. No more needing to take out my joy cons in order to charge. Having this controller is great because it gives you so much more play time without needing to unplug your joycons. The joycons can also charge while playing used as well. This controller has an 1800 mAh battery so you have at least one full charge per joycon. The battery light indicator is in the back of the controller. The is nice as well is that there are light indicators on the top to tell you if your joycons are charging of if they're full on battery which super nice. The joycons are slide in through the top just like the nintendo shell except the shell is a little longer than the original. The material does feel a bit cheaper than the OEM joycon grips but it grips pretty well. The joycons can be used while it is being charged and it does not hinder the performance of the joycons in anyways. It does charge via a type c cable that is provided. You can plug it directly into your switch but be aware charging time can take up to two hours and you can also charge the joycons while charging this grip. The type c cable does feel a little cheap so I actually ended up changing out the cable for something else to give it a bit more length as the cable provided is not too long. The charging time varies depending on your medium however I do say it charges my joycons within two hour of being plugged in which is super nice. I am unsure if actually stops charging once it reaches full. You get tons of extra hours with this grip but make sure you take breaks for less eye strain. The joycons lock pretty well into place and can easily be moved if I wanted. Regardless of hand size this grip works pretty well from what I can tell. I think it looks the best with gray joycons but any nintendo joy cons will work with these. Overall I think this grip is really a smart idea and a bit disappointed ninendo did not do this. The grips is pretty sturdy, provides a ton of extra power, and improves longer game play. The only down side is the material does feel a little cheap.

Love this thing , I have mor wine one set of controllers so to charge them is a lot . I don’t have a base to charge all because I have toddler who run off with my controllers . But the quality of this is awesome and easy to use. It was cheaper great for the price, than when I got the one from game stop a couple of years ago . Charging is easy and it’s with a c-port wire type . Works great honestly.

I have a Nintendo Switch that I keep docked and connected to my TV because I prefer playing on a big screen—it’s easier for me since I’m a bit older! I have it plugged in near the couch, but the battery lasts several hours without needing to be charged. It uses a USB Type-C charging cord, which is quite universal. I’ve had this adapter for over six months, and it hasn’t given me any trouble. Switching from my Nintendo-branded remote was a slight adjustment, but the differences were minimal.

We have two of these now. One works great, but the other has an issue where the left joy-con slips out with even a small push. I double-checked to make sure it wasn’t a problem with the joy-con itself by swapping them, and the issue persisted. If you decide to buy this, make sure to test it and be prepared to send it back for a replacement if needed. I have no idea how common this defect is, but for me, it was a 50/50 experience.
