Viking Knit All-Inclusive Kit with 1/2" Tool & End Caps by Stephanie Eddy

I'm very new to wire jewelry work and when I saw videos for a "viking chain" weave I wanted to try it right away. This item makes it so easy, the booklet is helpful but if you're a more visual learner like me there are plenty of great youtube tutorials you can use with the booklet. It comes with everything you need to make your first chain. I made my first one tonight and once you get the pattern it's simple and this tool makes it so much easier!*Edit* After finishing the spool that the kit comes with, I think there's a printing error on the label. The wire is labeled as 30 YARDS but is definitely closer to 30 feet. There is no way there was only enough to make one long necklace with 30 yards (90~ feet)

I absolutely love this kit. You literally have everything you need to get to started viking knitting. The instructions were very informative as well. I have already made several products with this kit. I did however, purchase pliers and extra wire. Other than that, you are set. It arrived in surprisingly great timing as well. Don't get discouraged when your first piece comes out kind of funny! It takes practice. I also suggest trying different gauges of wire to see what works best for you. But this kit gives you all the tools you need to get started. The bracelet pictured, I used 22 guage for the bracelet, and 16 for the end cap and clasp. Using the kit pictured above and some pliers I purchased separately.

I ordered this kit after watching a YouTube instructional video for Viking knit. They showed how you could knit the wire without the Lazee Daizee, with a highliter & a rubber band, which I tried...unsuccessfully. The kit has everything you need with easy-to-follow instructions. My first attempt is shown below. It's only going to get better with practice and wire was included so I was able to start as soon as I opened the package! Did I mention the package arrived 4 days ahead of the earliest promised date?

Have fallen in love with the Lazee Daizee tool & the versatility in what you can do. A little challenging at first but found out for me the 20 or 22 gauge is easier to use. But love the results you can achieve with 26 gauge!

This kit has everything but the 1/2" & the 1/4" tool but since I wanted tha 1/2" tool I was thrilled. Its a little tricky learning but if I can do it anybody can. It even came a day earily.

The case came sewn very poorly the zipper is not well attached. Cranking tool flimsy. The directions for use are adequate with a good explanation on the main tool. This item seems overpriced. I would not purchase it again as I expected better quality.

Really does the job. Easy to use. Took me a couple of tries. See youtube video for this. It really helped. Get the book from Amazon.
