Can this be used as a coffee mug?

Hi! I have the hippo version. I would say you can't drink out of this. Maybe if a straw is used. The inside is glazed, but it wouldn't work as a drinking vessel.

Is the inside glazed? I’m looking for something easy to clean, inside and out.

My hippo is glazed on the outside and inside. I bought two of them--one for pencils and pens and the other holds a small succulent.
