Under Mr. Nolan's Bed (Revised)

I got the "revised" edition which is a freebie on Amazon and I stayed with it. If my eyelids weren't dragging down I could've read this in one sitting. Given my 5-star rating, I obviously enjoyed it because when it comes to same sex couplings, I'm partial to ff than mm. It has pseudo incest which I've read about, and the author clearly has a note at the beginning of the book so I read this with an open mind. There has been a time when Amazon removed the erotica in their site, and before that I was able to get a free collection on Daddy-Daughter stories, which all involves pseudo incest, which means that the characters aren't biologically related, they just had (yes, the mother passed away already) a parent-child relationship before. For those who are into the taboo and unconventional, this is for you. It's most definitely not for everyone and like Ms Kitt mentioned in her note, they are just fantasies. If ever the readers want to make that a reality, that's solely up to them. I just had to get that out before going on to my review. This story has a lot of sex in it. You might want to think there's no story at all, just pornography in writing. That may be true for some but I still appreciated the dynamic between the best friends Leah and Erica, and Mr Nolan (Rob) and Erica. Though some scenes were redundant (in terms of erm...positions), I reconciled it with the situation, and convenience for them to do their thing. I read a review that says something like this is "a train wreck waiting to happen, and I just can't help but read it". It's one of those books. The only thing I'm spoiling here is there's sex in every chapter and surprisingly it still works. The ending was a little rushed though, after all that has happened. There's also a lot of foreshadowing and questions raised in the very latter part of the book. Still, this revised edition encouraged me to buy a boxed set on Amazon.

<strong>Wow </strong> This is not a book for everyone it hits some taboo situations... but Selena does this with steam and class... it has step dad and daughter sex and a whole lot more it pushes boundaries but the story is great and sex filled the blurb of the book tells u want u need to know b4 going in so if the blurb piqued your interest than you may just enjoy this book I did I just needed to remind myself it was fantasy I loved Leahs and Mr Nolans developing relationship I enjoyed Erica's and Leahs evolving relationship I dont know how I feel about Ericas and her stepdad Mr Nolans evelving relationship but I am happy I read this book and so glad I discovered Selena kitt I will be reading more of her books starting with book 1 tempation which is another version of Under Mr Nolans bed and is a trilogy... if u can handle taboo and stay open minded this book is worth the read

Selena Kitt is kind of known for doing things that other people wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. This novel is no exception. While there are incidents in this book that, in any normal circumstance, would NOT be "sexy" in real life, Selena has a way of building character and plot so that these often-times "ewwy" subjects, turn out to be incredibly hot. That takes some serious skill... because, probably just like you, I'm not generally "into" the subject matter Kitt approaches here (I'm speaking of the incestuous elements), but somehow they were just hot. I loved this book because it does something that novels should do: It allows us to experience a different life... do things we would never do... and just melt into a story. Kitt's execution of story rivals many of the "mainstream brick and mortar" authors on the market today. There is a scene with these two friends having a breaking moment in the rain that was so vividly and beautifully described that I totally fell into the story and forgot where I was at for a long period of time. Astounding. The sex scenes are hot... although, keep in mind there are a TON of them in the book. So, this is a good thing if that's what you want, but I did find myself wanting to itch back into the plot when a few of those kinds of scenes got mashed together. Then again, I did read this novel in two days, so my own pacing was off (May be better in smaller doses). If the topic of this book horrifies you initially--as it did with me--at least read a sample of it, and you may just be surprised. "A" freakin' plus.

if erotic is what you are into and you need a release of the everyday mundane life then this is a very definant book to read,but you have to have an open mind,some would call it filth, i call it an education!

Under Mr. Nolan's Bed (Revised) is a scorching hot of taboo love and sex. This book centers around 18 year-old Leah and the journey she takes during the awakening of her sexuality. Leah falls for her best friend's step-father and soon they are involved in a blazing affair. This book contains masturbation, F/F, M/F and F/M/F sexual situations. Everyone in this book eighteen years old or older and there is no blood relationship between them. I'm a huge Selena Kitt fan and this book is one of my favorites. If you do not enjoy hot fantasy stories featuring explicit sex and taboo subject matter than this book is not for you. If you do like these things then this book is a winner.

Okay...first of all, the vision of the author is well defined for such a short story. Coming of age and incest sounds gross in theory, but a lot of girls and boys idolize someone close and important in their young lives and it's up to the adult to rectify that in a gentle matter - IF it were to come to that. For most, that simple infatuation comes and goes without a fleeting thought, you know, "my Dad's the bestest" type of emotion. This is what happens when an adult is just as overcome with the same emotion. Be prepared for taboo. If you can't think outside the box...this one's not for you. I don't really want to say too much more. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but I will agree with one review. Taboo, I can deal with and wrap my mind around. The crushing horror of one the main characters and then abrupt ending, well, I just felt sad as I powered down my kindle. All in all, just a sad coming of age story. Just sad.

When I'm looking for hot steamy erotica to read, I always turn to Selena Kitt. She writes the best on the edge erotica novels and this one did not fail to fit the bill. Selena Kitt can delve into those taboo issues and make them absolutely hot. This novel follows the same trend. When Erica and Leah discover Erica's father pornographic collection of movies and pictures they begin to explore their sexuality going against everything they were taught in the Catholic church. Things really begin to heat up when Leah discovers Erica's father mastuerbating and becomes entangled in an illict affair with her best friends's father. Of course, in Selena Kitt fashion, she continues to push the story to the edge by adding the incest element. This may shock some readers because it is such a taboo issue. The ending comes as a complete shock which will send all the characters in a tailspin. I only wish that she would have added a few more pages telling what would have happened next.

This was my first erotica book so I don't have a lot to compare it to, but I loved this book. The subject was a bit taboo but that didn't bother me at all. It is erotic fiction after all. The sex was very HOT - which is the most important thing, right? - and the story was interesting enough (with a few surprises and moments of suspense). It kept my interest from start to finish. I'll definitely read more of Selena's books.

Yes, we all have those dirty little secret books, and this one hit almost every one - two teenage best friends, a sidelined boyfriend and sexy step-dad and a tonne of sexual experimentation!! Okay, so not sold on the Daddy issues, but not disgusted by it, and it was only a small part Okay, so Erica and Leah are buddies from forever, they break into Erica's dad's porn collection and start with masturbation in the same room. Erica has experimented with her boyfriend but still remains a virgin. Leah is completely attracted to Erica's dad, and after watching him with his porn collection moves from spying to acting on her attraction, while still exploring matters with Erica as well. Predictably, Erica finds out what her best buddie and Dad have been up to, and is very angry, but once her boyfriend dumps her, she turns to her best friend. Leah's mom catches a glimpse of what might be happening, and a school trip has taboo's happening all over the place. Finally, a twist at the end, not so much a shocker as a twist, and the story isn't complete?? I went into this believing at the end the story was done, but their are two more books to finish it off, wish I had known!!! The book was all about sexual encounters, but we did get some character development on Leah throughout. Erica and Mr Nolan are explained with their interactions with her, but nothing on them specifically

Once again another fantastic story from Selina. How does she do it, coming up with those superb story lines not to mention the hot hot hot sex

I thought this was a far better book that the rather teasing publicity and cover images suggested. There was a well-written and intelligent story, not simply a series of sexual encounters. The relationship between the two teenage friends was nicely conveyed. The confusion and emotional turmoil felt by the first-person character was nicely shown, and certainly plausible enough. I felt a bit like slapping Mr Nolan for not being as thoughtful and considerate towards her as he perhaps could have been, but this is erotica rather than romance and that was just part of the story. And some of the sex in particular was something I'd kinda like to try out for myself.

I've heard good things about Selena Kitt, but what you hear about an author is not always necessarily true, or it doesn't always apply to you. I was not disappointed with the sex scenes. They were totally amazing. But I felt as though there could have been more to the story, I know its erotica, but it was all sex all the time. I would definitely try out more of her work though.

Brought this while browsing for books after reading shades of grey. Not a good read at all. Clearly should of read the reviews beforehand.
