Mandarin Vanilla Vitalizing Shower Gel, 8.5 Ounce

I've been on the "natural" product bandwagon for skincare for about seven years now, with a few hits and misses along the way. Andalou products, along with few Acure ones, have been my go-to for the last 2 years due to great results and affordability. I finally got to try Andalou's body wash in Mandarin Vanilla, which I was a little nervous about since I'm picky about scent, especially anything vanilla, and tend to be sensitive to a lot of things. If you prefer more foody fragrance vs herbal/floral, then this might be for you. The scent reminds me of ambrosia with a hint angelfood cake, or slightly like a creamsicle, but without being sickly sweet, synthetic or overpowering. The vanilla is more soft, creamy, dessert-like to my sniffer, instead of that warm, synthetic vanilla that many products have and which I usually don't care for (i.e. Bath and Body, Victoria's Secret, etc.). The best anger miter noticeable part is the freshly squeezed mandarin scent that's light and bright. For me, it was a delightful and delicious aromatherapy moment, which I haven't experienced in a while, or at least side getting off store bought products. Actually, I like this way better lol. Aside from the scent, I also found that my skin feels soft and smooth, despite not tossing on lotion yet (which I'll still need, of course). Because of my dermatitis issues, I also appreciate that it didn't dry out my skin as most products do, but rather hydrated it a bit while providing that "clean" feeling. Definitely will repurchase and planning on trying the lotion, too.

This smells like the familiar sweet treat without being overwhelming. I like to pair it with the matching lotion. I also like that it's made with cleaner ingredients than many shower gels. The bottle lasts a long time, so it's a good deal.

Smells nice, thick lather, not drying

Andalou has been a favorite in our home for years. We use the shower gel & lotion. Both are great for sensitive skin with safe ingredients. The scent is lovely without being to powerful. It's creamy and suds nicely. Highly recommend.

Lately, I have noticed that by the time the tube is at least half empty, the product has apparently separated and needs to be shaken. It is annoying when I squirt it out and then realize it is all clear liquid rather than the opaque white color. At that point I am wasting the product! On a good note, I love the scent and the sudsy lather when using this product. It leaves my skin rather moist rather than stripping away my own oils.

This is my favorite body wash. It smells wonderful, it lasts a long time, and I appreciate the natural ingredients.

This cream is terrific!! Most important to me is that it is easy to apply, is quickly absorbed. It moisturizes well, but is not sticky or too thick on my skin. Great price and lasts quite a while. I love this particular scent which is pleasant, but not overpowering. Highly recommend!

I love how I smell while using this in the shower and I wish it would last after. This body wash is light weight and lathers pretty well. I love how it's vegan and the ingredients are natural. It's affordable for the amount you get.

First time purchase... based on the positive reviews posted by others on Amazon, I chose Andalusia Naturals Vitalizing Shower Gel -Mandarin. Love the scent, & the suds. It is a joy to use...UPDATE: .Sept 19/16. have ordered 4 more as I do not want to be without it. Dec.2019...I have continued to use this product, and for Christmas I have giving the lotion & gel in this scent to many family & friends.

The Andalou Naturals Vitalizing Shower Gel that I bought is certainly not the same quality as the same brand Gel that I used to buy from Health Food!!! It is liquid almost like water. Also annoying is the fact that a return was not possible as the tube was opened a only few months after I bought it. Never again this brand !!!
