Jack's Classic 16-5-25 Tropical Food Water-Soluble Fertilizer, 1.5lb

I have a bird of paradise that was doing ok but seemed to be stagnant - walking around our neighborhood others - who don’t even care for their plants were lush and blooming - I began using this 3 weeks ago - my hope was to get more leaves and for a fuller look with hopefully more blooms - while we have had a very dry summer - as I said before it’s been stagnant - after 3 weeks - I already have 3 blooms and hoping this follows with more lush leaves after the blooming cycle- I would highly recommend.

I’ve been using Jack’s Classic 16-5-25 Tropical Food on my cycads, and they’ve really responded well to it. The NPK ratio seems perfectly suited for strong, steady growth without excessive softness or weak new flushes. I apply a diluted dose with every watering, and the plants have stayed consistently healthy and vibrant. One thing I especially appreciate is the diversified nitrogen sources—ammoniacal, nitrate, and urea. That mix provides both immediate and sustained nutrition, which keeps the growth balanced over time. It also dissolves cleanly and doesn’t leave any residue in my watering cans or pots. Another big plus is the inclusion of micronutrients, which helps ensure the plants get a complete, balanced feed—especially important for cycads that can be sensitive to deficiencies. My indoor hibiscus plants (both hardy and tropical varieties) absolutely love this fertilizer. The plants were pretty healthy but rarely produced flowers. After I started adding a small amount of this fertilizer to my weekly watering schedule for the plants, about two months ago, they have been producing multiple large flowers on an almost daily basis. Hibiscus and many other tropical plants do not tolerate large amounts of phosphorus in the soil, so regular "balanced" fertilizers can actually harm the plant. This fertilizer blend gives them the nitrogen and potassium that they need to grow and produce lots of flowers.

Seems to do the job.

The Palm food came just in the nick of time! I live in the northeast so my palms enjoy summer outdoors but must winter indoors. They seem to do well until the months of March & April when their leaves become dry and brown. I actually wrote the manufacturer (the company is out of PA). They explained that the air gets severely dry in March & April so low humidity causes that dryness. Suggested I use a humidifier in the spring indoors until I can get them outside. They also explained even though my palms are in pots, to give it the outdoor plant dosage once I get them outside. My palms perked up almost immediately in early summer when I gave them their first feeding. They've grown all new fronds and are so healthy now. No more dropping leaves or yellowing. This food is exactly what your palms need!

A very nice plant fertilizer for hibiscus plans

I've only given one "dosage" to my palms and they are all springing to life!. I have a variety of Kings, Sagos, and Pygmy's. The King's especially struggle to stay green. Normally the new fronds start green and turn brown and dry. 1 month ago I fed the palm's the recommended dosage: 2 scoops to 2 gallons water. I haven't had time to give them a second feeding but they are still "happy" and green. I did water the day before so the ground would absorb the feeding better. Highly recommend this product. Well worth the expense for what you get: new growth and green happy palms in a few days!!!

Super fertilezer..

My big palm tree seemed a bit depleted so bought this on Prime Day... I've used it twice and it's easy to use... it looks a lot like those blue Miracle Grow granules and mixes with water easy... Hopefully this will help my palm get healthier!
