Solid Quality, Great Value โ Just What We Needed!
I bought this 9dBi Omni WiFi Antenna with RP-SMA Connector to replace an antenna that got broken in a chair mishap, and it works perfectly. The installation was super easy, just screw it on and itโs ready to go. The signal strength is excellent, noticeably stronger than the stock antenna that came with my router. Itโs a solid, well-built replacement that does exactly what it should. Great value and highly recommended if you need a reliable WiFi antenna upgrade or replacement!

Replacement Antenna Works - But Be Aware
First - overall we are pleased with this replacement antenna used on our RV's Furrion Vision S back up camera system - improved signal. Be aware that this antenna is more than twice the length of the standard one, and the screw on base is a larger diameter than the Vision S OEM antenna - I had to reduce the size of the base by slicing and sanding it down to a diameter that would fit into the Vision S's camera base. Once tightened down, had to use silicone sealant to keep it in place and to attach or seal the top of the antenna to the RV roof trim (otherwise it flops down which impacts the signal).

Works great!
I moved my transponder about 30โ further from my camera. This worked perfectly. Itโs a Firstrend system.

Modest Gain at 5GHz.
My desktop is in a remote room of my apartment far from my modem/router. Wifi throughput was OK. But recently a number of other Wifi networks have come on line at similar power levels to my network (measured at my desktop location) causing interference and greatly lowering my internet upload/download rates to the point where I had to disconnect my VPN and I also experienced occasional browser timeouts. I bought this antenna with hopes of increasing gain by about 6dB over my present desktop antenna. However, at 2.4 GHz I saw no improvement in received signal power level. On switching to a 5GHz network I saw a 1-3 dB improvement compared with my old antenna when operating in that band. I'm continuing to use this antenna in the latter band primarily because there are no interferers at 5GHz and I experience higher throughput rates.

Big improvement in signal, but has a hard time staying upright -- does not fit Furrion Vision S
Edit: I changed cameras from the Lippert to the Furrion Vision S which initially seemed to be more reliable in keeping a good connection with the stock antenna. However, I noticed the same degradation of signal that I had been experiencing with the former camera. I decided to order these to try to improve the signal again. I found, as have others, that the diameter of the connector is much wider than the space Furrion made. available. I ended up having to return the package as I did not want to modify either the antenna base or the camera housing to make this work. I can't fault the antenna as it probably would have worked great if I had been able to connect it. Now I need to look for an alternative that will work. I am using this on a wireless backup camera for my Cherokee Grey Wolf. I kept losing the signal with the stock antenna and when I had a signal, it was choppy and had pauses that made the picture near useless when using it as a rear-view camera. This antenna solved that issue. I haven't had it lose the signal since I installed it. The only problem is that the wind catches it at highway speeds and it folds over, which changes the polarity. I think I know how to fix it though, so overall, I would say if you need a better antenna, this is a good choice.

So inexpensive and it WORKS!
So inexpensive and it WORKS. I paid full price and this is an honest review. Using my Amazon TV signal strength as a reference (in settings), I get FAIR signal strength with the existing 5 -3/8" antenna. I get GOOD signal strength with the 15" Techtoo 9dBi Omni WiFi Antenna. Would I have liked a signal strength of Excellent? SURE! For such a low price and simple setup I am very impressed and satisfied! When I was a kid my dad had a TV repair store, and I can tell you different antennas do matter. We could put a Channel Master up in the same place as an RCA and get more and clearer stations with the Channel Master. Of course that was back in the day when we only got over the air signals. If your not looking for outrageous results give it a try. Certainly improved wifi range
Maybe I didn't read the description, but the antenna was longer than I was expecting. Tried it out (remote wifi camera) and it worked fine with a 5dB increase in signal stength. Problem was it's outside in a windy location and the wind keeps blowing the antenna to point downwards into the metal structure below that impedes reception. Nothing to do with bad antenna design etc, just my particular situation. I found an old cable and fitted a patch antenna to the camera that gives about the same signal as the Techoo antenna when vertical (tells me the techoo antenna was working well) I'll keep it and might have use for it if I find an application with a reverse SMA connector in a more stable environment. :)
