But I have now possessed these for for several weeks, and I've successfully tested the clippers on 18 of my nails. Hands: Thumbs (both left and right): These were the easiest by far. Like a hot knife through something kinda buttery. Pointer fingers (both left and right): This was a little more difficult. I had really let my pointer fingernails go, and required soaking my fingers in a solution of vinegar, lemon, and bacon fat before I felt comfortable bringing anything metal close to them. Middle fingers (both left and right): I was able to use these clippers to mold my middle fingernails to beautiful works of art, if I do say so myself. My left fingernail is sculpted to resemble the great an a TIE-Fighter from Star Wars. My right fingernail has been crafted in the likeness of my ex. I haven't shown her yet. Ring finger (right): Successful test, but I found the ambient screaming a bit distracting. Ring finger (Left): I never tested this finger, I decided to let my nail continue to grow. I have my reasons. Pinky finger (both left and right): It went OK. Feet: Toes (most of them): I found the experience to be similar to taking a really sharp machete through dense jungle undergrowth. These experience does not really reflect upon the quality of the clippers, however. They're just great. Large Toe, Left foot: DO NOT USE THE CLIPPERS ON THIS TOE! I was halfway done before I realized. I was careless and failed to understand. Please make sure you do not. Review: It's not worth it - I wanted to spend more money to get a high quality clipper with a nice design. Unfortunately, this piece is not worth the money. I am very disappointed because it broke very quickly (maybe after using it 20 times or so). The appearance is nice, it's heavy and well finished, but it appears more durable than it is in reality. The handle broke off even though I didn't use excessive force (my friends describe me as being quite particular and very careful with my stuff). It can't be repaired. As always, the weakest component in an assembly determines the overall system's robustness, and apparently the link between handle and main clipper is way too fragile.

Product recently updated; much better
UPDATE: the company contacted me and said they'd updated the clippers and wanted me to try them again. I have agreed and will write a complete review once I receive the new ones and get to try them out. The company owner has been very helpful and proactive with me. He shipped a new set quickly when I agreed to try them. I was very pleased with the small ones, but the large ones were missing an anchor that kept the clipper together. I emailed him and had apologized and immediately sent me yet another pair. These were both in great shape. My husband and I agreed that the improvements were needed and helpful. The clippers are easier to use and cut much better. The do not slip in the hand because of the surface. I am not sure if they are the best clippers, but they are worth buying. I'll keep them and see how they work over time. Original I wish I liked these more. I do like the nonslip interior, but they aren't that sharp. They are also hard to squeeze. I'm still looking for a better pair.

not just the clippers, 5 star customer support as well
Really how great can nail clippers be? Functionally they are all pretty much the same. However function isn't necessarily what sets these apart from others you may be considering. Let me start by saying this is the first set of clippers I've ever bought that came with an instruction and care manual. To me that immediately set this product apart. I couldn't help but think that the manufacturer took this pretty seriously. If they do there must be a reason. I needed replacement clippers because the set I previously used had fallen apart in my pocket. The key ring hole on these is perfect for a key ring if need be which was perfect for me. They do feel more comfortable and natural to hold then others I've previously used. On top of well thought out design of clippers, the customer feedback side of the company is very thorough on following up to make sure I was completely satisfied. I would definitely buy these again if for some reason I needed them but with their design I doubt it will be necessary.

Best Clippers I Have Ever Owned (Literally)
Over my entire life I have never trimmed my nails with anything but a $2 nail clipper bought at the local department store. This was fine for me because I had no idea there could be anything better. Nail clippers are nail clippers right? Well, I don't feel that way anymore after using these MoxyCut clippers. The cut is so precise and true and clean. Before, with lesser quality clippers, I would often not get them to cut all the way through. I would then have to either make another cut (or two) or try to pull the nail off (not recommended) where that last tiny piece was hanging to remove the clipping. I think cleanup of clippings is easier with the Moxy too because with the precise cuts you get less and larger clippings to dispose. UPDATED: So my clippers broke precisely 2-1/2 years after my original purchase. The metal failed and broke in the same place as it seems most others are breaking at the pivot at the head of the top arm. Still, I got 2-1/2 years of weekly use out of it so I don't feel they were useless.

The best clippers I have used !!
When I first saw these, they looked like they would be easier to hold !! And when I picked them up, and could feel and see how well they were made, I tried them out !! And I took my time to see how they were going to work. Because I have trouble feeling things in my hands, I was always picking up my other clippers, after they slipped out of my hands !! And after two months of using the MoxyCut clippers, I have not dropped them once !! They are so easy to hold and use!! I'm ordering another set !! These are so well made, it may be the last time I have to buy !!

The replacement pair was great. It cut perfectly and felt solid
Disclaimer: I haven't used the toenail clippers; I got this set for the smaller fingernail clippers. The first pair I received did not cut well; the two sharp edges were very slightly misaligned, so that they tended to crush and tear my nails rather than cut. I complained to the company and they very kindly sent me a replacement pair at no charge. The replacement pair was great. It cut perfectly and felt solid, and it didn't fall apart in my pocket like my old cheap clippers. However, after a few months, those new MoxyCut clippers started falling apart in my pocket too. And yesterday, about 1 year after I bought them, the metal actually broke off where the handle attaches to the pin, so I had to throw them away. Given the price, I can't recommend them.

Pretty solid but broke
Update: broken. I was happily using the best and most expensive toenail cutter for me ever, until one day it didn't cut anymore, but tear. On close inspection, the blade didn't align anymore. On closer inspection, there was a small crack in the steel body. I couldn't believe it. Back to the store for a cheap replacement. I used pretty good nail clippers before but couldn't say why they are good. Now I know. I had used hand nail clippers for the toenails, which is not good at all. I had used toenail clippers for fingernails, which is very snappy but not precise. Why I never thought of that? The top part is round and thick giving it strength that should be good. It doesn't wobble sideways easily. It 's sharp enough to cut. Yes, the nail filer is small if you ever use that. But it's a lot sharper than typical ones. One reviewer says the blade gap is too small for his nails. The only reason I can think of is that his nails are unusually thick, a few times thicker than mine at least. Or, unusually' curved.
