.047" These are really nice boxes for small projects. They are countersunk for the provided screws and everything fits very well.

Hello, if you are making these enclosures in house, could you cut one to 7" long? This would be perfect for my project but needs a little more length.

I recommend you look for the exact measure or closest to your needs (I found many different measures in aluminum or plastic here in Amz and other sites), the thickness of the aluminum sheet is small and it will be difficult for a cut or adjustment in the box to allow to have a good finish
