So far, I'm very pleased. Got item over night and it fit and was easy to replace. It fits a lil tighter than last one. Hope it's not a problem

My original door part had a rounded base (that goes under the handle), and this one has defined corners on the edges of the base. No matter, it works perfectly, after having checked that the basic measurements provided match those of my original. There are slight visual differences, that make no difference in the appearance or function when installed. It isn't machined to watch part specifications, but it doesn't need to be, it works smoothly, and is comfortable to the touch. It was easy to install, and together with a replacement mechanism, my slider now opens and closes with ease, and latches securely, as it should! Great durable product that did exactly what I needed it to. Hoping the plate that extends through the sliding glass door doesn’t snap off of this one, but it’s been installed for 8 months and no issues so far.

My Pella sliding glass door had a similar latch which snapped in half (mine had a half-moon shaped area where you press it with your thumb). This replacement part fit my door perfectly. It was a simple fix. I just removed the existing handle by removing two screws, slid in the new latch and screwed the handle back on. I did not have to replace the entire door handle/lock/latch mechanism which was a relief. I wish this came in tan since my door is tan colored. I'll probably paint it later with fingernail polish or something.

Not sure how the old latch broke given these are all solid metal. Perhaps the old one was made more cheaply as I noticed the lever that is inserted was also shorter. But this was a perfect fit and replacement and I hope it lasts many years.

This metal part replaced a vinyl lever which broke after years of wear and tear. The internal portion of my doorhandle required some very minor trimming to ensure the lever fit and move properly but otherwise installation was simple and it works as well or better than the original lever.

2 of patio door locks were broken. We were putting off fixing them, using wood in the track to “lock” them, as we thought we had to replace the entire door handle mechanism. Turns out this part was all we needed. Saved us a iot of money. Hubby had to make a small adjustment to the inside of the handle so it would sit flush against the door but that wasn’t a huge job. Very happy that we can properly lock our doors now.
