I kinda had to order this on faith based on measurements from the old lock. The seller provides a detailed measurement diagram on the page but you always wonder. Anyway, it arrived and out of the box it was a perfect match. It installed easily and did not even have to change the hasp on the door frame as this one grabbed it perfectly. The door is probably 20+ years old so I was quite happy to find a drop in replacement. Total install time, 15 minutes.

I held off a while before purchasing one of these for my sliding glass door, but it was very simple to install and works great! I don't know why I waited so long! Would recommend!

Lock is very easy to install. Good to read all instructions & you might want to install a pin through lower hole before removing or installing so can't fall into door. So far I'm happy with this product it seems to be sturdy & is working good. I would recommend to others. Great product for the money ! Thank you

Called a locksmith to repair broken lock on my sliding glass door. He said they are mega hard to repair. Have to find the exact brand and original company to match it up. Then Found on a Google Search a guy who said its EZ and explained how to match up measurements and see if you have a straight or 45° angle to pick the right lock. This one, a 45° one, is the most common one. Dirt cheap. EZ to install. That locksmith is a dummy! Easy DIY project! Highly recommend.

I made sure to measure first. The lock was easy to change out. It was probably one of my easiest fix it project's. A bit of WD 40 at the end did give it extra smoothness while working. The door latch now works better then it has in years.

Fit, finish and adjustment are all nice. With the correct adjustment, the feel is terrible getting it into the lock position. Once into the lock position, it barely holds. Feels like if someone hit it with a rubber mallet it would disengage and unlock. Too late to return but I guarantee you I will be replacing this lock as soon as time permits. Just not a good secure feeling.

Was a perfect replacement for my patio door's mortise lock.... BUT, that's because I did my measuring and checking to ensure it would fit..... Saved me from just going out and buying an entire new patio door... BE sure not to over tighten the screws that hold the inside and outside handles on, or it will bind up the works....... ALSO-Only remove the TOP and BOTTOM screws to get the mortise lock body out.Although you have to take the handles off first, as their screws pass through this....The two screws towards the middle of the lock body are not to be removed..They hold the latch assembly in place, so you don't want to loosen those at all.. Otherwise, I've always been happy with Prime-Line products as they are usually a direct replacement for OEM parts...Again, you just have to check your measurements/style to ensure you order the correct part...

Perfect replacement part for broken one. Screwdriver and lubricating oil was all that it took. Job completed in less than 15 minutes.

I replace the handle as well as this and everything fit perfectly and worked fine.

This fit perfectly as a replacement for the original locking mechanism on my 16 year old sliding patio door. Having said that, this replacement was much lighter than the original, and felt much cheaper and built cheap. If I can get 15 years out of this lock, I will be incredibly surprised (and happy).

This lock fits well and activates up and down..the only problem is not to depress it too far beyond its resting point as it will stay locked and is very difficult to unlock
