I use these for organizing all my documents and they work great! They look good and hold up well for a paper folder. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for folders you would want to keep out or even display on a bookshelf or in an office.

Great quality American-made folders!

Didn’t expect to have strong opinions about folders, and yet… here we are. These Smead heavyweight folders are the real deal. The pockets are deep and secure, holding a surprising amount of paper without feeling like they’re going to rip or warp. I use them for everything like work documents, home paperwork, even random receipts I swear I’ll organize one day. The assortment of colors is super helpful for keeping things categorized. Red for urgent, blue for calm stuff, green for financial things—it’s oddly satisfying. The material feels solid and durable, and the reinforced sides definitely help. I’ve tossed one in my bag multiple times and it’s still holding strong. Bonus points for having recycled content too. If you need folders that can actually keep up with your life (and maybe make you look more organized than you are), these are worth it.

These folders are better than I expected. I decided to order them, despite some of the negative reviews I read. Here's the pros and cons of the folders that I received. I plan on ordering more of these. If anything changes, I'll update my review. Pros: Nice size. They are actually a little wider than the average pocket folder. They measure 11.5 H x 9.75 W. The pockets are designed so that you have the full width of the folder to put papers in. (To accommodate paperwork, count on 9.5" width. You can easily put a regular-size pocket folder inside one of the pockets in these folders!) Nice leather pattern on folder. Description says 'heavyweight', but I don't know that I would describe them this way. They are not super thick, but are what I would consider average-weight folders and would work fine for most needs. Does have slots for a business card. Also, the slots will accommodate a regular 2" x 3.5" business card up to a slightly larger card of 2.30" H x 3.75" W. Top outside corner is rounded. Not a big detail, but I liked it. Overall, a nice-looking folder. Cons: The color of orange is different than pictured. The pictures makes them look like they are a little darker spicier orange than they are. They are a relatively bright (not florescent) normal orange. Not a bad color of orange, but I was hoping for the deeper shade. They do not have the CD holder, as pictured. (This was not a negative for me, but if you are wanting this, then you will be disappointed.) I gave 4 out of 5 stars because the orange was not as in the picture and the folders are described as 'heavyweight' but are average weight.

The folders can hold a lot of information

I needed a folder that had both a business card holder and CD holder, this was actually the only one I found like it. I was torn between the gray and the white but I am SO HAPPY I went with the gray, its a beautiful shade of gray that makes the purple in my business card really stand out. Its a high quality folder at a great price and I would definitely recommend it.

These folders are perfect for what I needed them for. The right color and thickness. Also they came with out prongs which I didn’t want.
