Yes. The master key is required for the first opening and for switching between access modes. Please keep the master keys in a secure place outside the safe.

Can I open the safe with only the code?

Yes. Insert the master key and turn it clockwise all the way, then remove the master key. After that, you can open the safe with the touchscreen code only.

What are the usable interior dimensions?

The main storage area measures 12.9"H × 15.3"W × 10"D, and the inner lock box measures 3.0"H × 15.2"W × 8"D. Please compare these dimensions with the items you plan to store.

What should I do if the safe batteries run out?

Insert 4 AA batteries into the included emergency battery box and connect it to the emergency power port under the keypad. Open the safe, then replace the internal batteries. AA batteries are not included.
