Holiday Party Mix

I love the cd. The songs are fun and energetic.

I just purchased this CD at a local store after hearing it play a few previews as I walked by. It was enough to get my attention and I went back to take a closer look and listen. I'm so glad that I did! After hearing several previews I knew that I just had to get this. I purchased this CD with for a 7 year old girl with the intention to wait until Thanksgiving but I just couldn't wait. As soon as my 7 year old daughter opened it she squealed with delight! She absolutely loves anything Barbie and this was a perfect CD heading into the holidays.Before purchasing this CD I was hesitant but because I heard some previews I thought I'd give it a try. It isn't anything like you might expect at all. It is such an awesome CD and we love each and every song! I listed to some of the songs as well and found myself singing right along very easily. This would definitely be something I would purchase as gifts to give to her friends or to family members with kids. This CD is worth the money I paid and then some with as much joy as it has brought not only to my daughter but myself.This CD is not like other CDs that have children singing on it. I know I have several of those CDS and they're the ones never listened to and are collecting dust. To us it didn't seem like there was much children singing but it is geared towards children and just can't say enough about this CD. If you're unsure still search online so you can hear some of the previews to see if this CD is right for you and your family.I would highly recommend this CD to anyone I know and know that it will bring years of enjoyment to my family. I would even listen to this CD as a mom if the kiddos weren't around. That's just how good this CD is for the young and young at heart.

Another reviewer mentioned there isn't anything Barbie in the songs, and I agree, there isn't.But the music is good and actually probably one of my favorite Christmas albums that we have. We enjoy playing this while we're decorating for the season. It's a great collection of songs with great artists.

This CD was a huge disappointment for us. I bought it for my 7 and 4 year old daughters expecting music sung by Barbie or songs from the Barbie Christmas movies but when we popped it in the CD player my girls were really upset. It's not Barbie singing or music from her movies. It's just random men and women singing Christmas songs. Don't get me wrong, the music isn't horrible, there is just nothing "Barbie" about it. The back of the CD case says it's Barbie's favorite collection of songs, but I still feel that the whole thing was misleading. Maybe some kids would get a kick out of having a CD of Barbies favorite songs, but my girls were expecting to listen to Barbie, not something that sounds like any other CD we have.
