Many Extra Uses!
I’ve been using this as both a spoon and spatula when cooking ground beef in a skillet, not with my Presto appliance that it comes with. The long edge is used to break the meat into smaller pieces. I previously just used a plastic fork utensil to do this, but this skimmer takes the place of both the big spoon and spatula And it’s twice as fast!

More uses than dipping out of a fryer
Even if you do not have a fry-daddy or other compact fryer you probably need one of these. I use it for many other things besides dipping food out of the fryer. It is especially helpful for making poached and hard cooked eggs.

Arrived as promised.
I like this skimmer for the frier, no sharp edges so it doesn’t scratch the coated surface of the fryer. I think the price is high for this product.
