I recently bought this item for the second time because I accidentally threw my old one away! I was using it to peel potatoes into a plastic bag and when I was done, I absently put the peeler into the bag and threw it in the trash. It wasn't until a few days later that I realized what I did and the trash had already been taken out and hauled off. I was sick about it. Sooo.. I bought another one. It works just as good as the first one, and it's the only peeler I'll ever need. Ever seen the commercials that show them peeling a pineapple? It works. I know because I tested it. And not only that, it didn't dull the blades one bit! I put it in the dishwasher too. I had my old one for a few years and it never got dull. This one won't either. It beats having to peel vegetables with a knife or one of those cheap sideways peelers that almost always breaks right when I need it the most. If I had anything negative to say about it, it would be watch your fingers, because it will cut you. Other than that, it's one of the best kitchen tools I've ever owned. Now when I peel potatoes, I make extra sure that the peeler doesn't go in the bag! :-)

I use the smaller one to peel carrots, potatoes, cucumbers, etc. it never dulls and is dishwasher safe. Never figured out how to use larger one. I have this product for over 10 years. I used to buy this item for $10 at Bed Bath and Beyond for gifts. Can’t believe todays price. My granddaughter was peeling a cucumber for me recently and said this was the best peeler ever. So I purchased one for her as a gift.

A simple tool that took some playing with it to get it to work (or me to work). Once you figure it out, it's great. You can open a can of something to be refrigerated, and lay the lid on top to store leftovers for a few days. No sharp edges on either the lid or the can.

This Veggie Peeler does it all! I’ve had mine for over 6 years! I bought the same one for my sister! Love the stainless steel and sturdy quality. Makes peeling easy! Hand wash the dishwasher will dull the blade. Worth the price for a quality product!

This is our second set of Titan peelers. Our existing peeler is 10+ years old. It still works great. We wanted an extra one to allow us to team up on big piles of potatoes. Is it the best? Who can tell? There are lots of sharp and ergonomic peelers out there. But since our first one lasted over 10 years without any noticeable degradation in performance, I feel comfortable recommending this as a quality brand. Plenty sturdy and sharp enough for butternut squash and other tough peels. Careful, though. I cut my finger just washing the new one before first use. Context: we peel potatoes or carrots or squash a few times a month. We're certainly not putting maximum workload on our peelers.
