Pad works on Mercedes jack point (2014 E series)
This is a review for the Mercedes pad made to fit the indention on the jackpoints on the sides of the car. The 2000's and newer MB have these weird rubber pad things on the jackpoints instead of a typical pinch point or even just a flat surface, which make it difficult to use a standard jackstand. I'm happy to say that these aluminum pads are a near perfect fit and allow use with both a jack and/or jackstand. I did consider the rubber versions of these pads, but read too many reviews about how the rubber ones deform, and didn't want to deal with that, so went with the aluminum pads. When I test fitted these pads before use, I was a bit concerned since they are not a flush fit in that the middle portion is about 1/4 inch too long, which means that the car rests on just the middle raised portion. I wasn't sure quite what to expect with this kind of weight distribution, so I jacked up my car by the center jackpoint, and then lowered them onto the jackstands with these jack pads in place, half expecting the car to slide off of these slick looking aluminum pads. However, once the weight of the car was on them, there was absolutely no movement at all. I did the usual shove test to make sure that the car wasn't going to go out of balance and was going to slip off the jackstands and fall on me and crush me while I was working on it, but it was as solid as can be. Quite happy with how these aluminum pads performed, and also happy to see that there was no deformation in the metal and no signs of scratches or indention or any defects after the first use.

Good quality
The slot does not need to be this wide, best to shim it up so you only have a little play to slip over your welded seem on your unibody. Any jack pad can rock and spit out from your jack. The key is to be sure your jack pad is a bit lager that the jacking puck and has lips on the outer edge. Be sure you jack up the car on level ground and the wheels on the jack are all inline so the jack can roll in towards your car as you lift kit.

Fits my AMG C43 perfectly!
I have a low profile jack for garage work on my AMG C43. Once I decided not to pay for extended service plan ( which maybe was a bad idea), I added another car to my self maintenance plan. My low profile jack has a plate that does cover the jack point on my car but I saw that people use hockey pucks or these types of jack adapters. Another weird German engineering design for MBs. So in order to appease the Germans, I bought this proper jack adapter. Not much too much to explain, sit this adapter on your plate for your floor jack, line it up and feed into the gap. Didn't break. Used twice. I did have an old floor jack that had a smaller circular jack plate with like a castle rim. Hard to explain but make sure you have a wide jack plate with low rim on your jack. A rubber pad helps too. ( I use a low profile craftsman floor jack in my garage.)

A must have for lifting a BMW product off the ground
All of my BMW vehicles were purchased as pre-owned vehicles. Every time I buy a "new to me" used BMW I am never surprised when I lift it off the ground for the first time and discovered that the jack pads have been completely destroyed by either the previous owner, or, more likely, the people that have done maintenance on the vehicle on behalf of the previous owner. People who are new to the brand simply don't know how to properly utilize the jack pads that are fitted to every BMW vehicle. The jack pads are made out of hard plastic that is fragile if used incorrectly, but incredibly strong and provide extra stability when used properly. You must use a jack pad adapter of some type in order to utilize them correctly. Most people, however, simply don't want to spend any extra money to use them properly, or don't know what they are, so the jack pads get destroyed over time. Then the vehicle gets sold to someone like me who ends up having to replace all of the broken jack pads. It's my lot in life. What makes these Potauto Universal Aluminum Jack Pad Adapters SO useful is that they are very well made, they are durable because they are metal, you can get them in bright red, and they are very reasonably priced. Why does it matter to me that they are red, you ask? Well, I once drove around for two weeks with a black jack pad adapter made by a different manufacturer stuck up inside one of my destroyed jack pads without even know it. Once I had lowered the car, the adapter didn't drop out of the destroyed jack pad. It was dark, the jack pad adapter was black, I was tired, and I didn't notice that it was stuck up in the damaged jack pad. Can you imagine a metal jack pad adapter coming off at 75 mph on the highway! Luckily that didn't happen, and I'm surprised that it didn't. All of my jack pad adapters are now red, and I never leave one behind. Therefore, these Potauto Universal Aluminum Jack Pad Adapters in red are a must have if you work on your own BMW. Utilize them properly and keep your jack pads in factory condition.

go for it
I got a few similar ones from Amazon but this was the best - first off it is metal, check all other people complaining about rubber breaking under jack - umm no thanks. This piece fit right in the opening of my 2020 GLC43 (for factory jack stand). It does go higher a bit but it does not impact anything because it rests on the top of the jack pad, not sides. Factory jack works the same way - check pics. Super sturdy, just replaced rear brake pads myself.

good product
Perfect fit for BMW jack point. Saves the plastic from being crushed by your floor jack. We'll worth the price. Makes life a little easier and safer when you are doing repairs yourself.

Soldi construction, great price, and easy to install
I've been looking for jacking pucks for my C6 for a while and liked the idea of an installed jack pad over a puck. I like the red colour because they match the car but are also easy to see so if I'm ever stuck at the mercy of a random shop, it shoudl be fairly obvious where to jack the car. These were really easy to install with 2 hex head screws per pad and even came with an alan wrench.

Well-made and very convenient
I swap tires on each of our vehicles (2019 Chev Impala & 2015 Subaru Forester) twice per year – both have pinch weld jack points so I bought this to speed up the process of jacking and reduce the chances of misalignment. This pinch jack pad is offered with two interior gap widths - 0.39” and 0.55”. The smaller size would have been fine for my Impala but was borderline for the Forester. With that said, I see no reason to buy the smaller gap one – the larger gap model provides more flexibility with no downside that I can see. There are two magnets on the contact surface of the pad. This allows you to attach it to the pinch weld before jacking up onto it. Doing so makes alignment with the floor jack super easy. The magnets work well on our vehicles but didn’t hold as well when I jacked up my neighbour’s Rogue because the underbody is thickly coated with oil & buildup (Krown + dirt?). Build quality is very good – solid aluminum with a tough nylon-type pad at the contact point. If you buy this (or similar pad with magnets) – be really careful to ensure you retrieve it from under the vehicle after each use. It would be really easy to forget it in place, and I almost did the first two times I used it.
