User friendly
I like this product. I was able to get two plugs working for my living room lamps. They had trouble connecting to my Internet but after a few tries they finally connected. I have found the app very user friendly. I schedule my lights to come on for several hours in the morning and then again in the evening. The schedule is very easy to use. Apparently there is a vacation mode that will have the lights come on at random times to make it look like someone is home. All in all I’m very happy with this product and highly recommend it. I’m not the most tech savvy person so I think most people will be able to figure out how to use it. Watch some You Tube videos if you run into trouble. I’m a happy camper!

These work great, are easy to setup, easy to program and perform perfectly all the time.
If you need a timer for whatever reason, these are the best. I have so many of these and I use them all over our home for turning lights on and off. Well of course that's what they're for, right? Ever set up a Christmas tree, get it plugged in and then when it was bedtime you struggled to reach the outlet to unplug those lights? I know I have. Sure, you can buy one of those step on switches that you plug your light strings into. But these make it so much easier to control and setup. There's a small learning curve to get it loaded onto your home internet, but once you've done one the rest are a breeze. Yup, your internet. No it's not going to slow it down and no it's not going to create issues with other wifi connected devices. In my home, I use not only these outlets, but I also use the wall switches, both single and three way switches. Also use the outlets that are meant for being outside in the weather from this same company. And they all work perfectly. Just to give you an idea I have at one time, mainly during the Holidays, I have at least 15 of these outlets around inside my home. Add into that 4 wall switches and another 4 outdoor weather resistant plugs. Take all those along with laptops, phones, speakers, tv's, tablets and I forget what else and I have zero issues with my 500GB internet speed. As for the plugs, they connect to your internet quickly, easily, install the app on your phone, laptop, tablet whatever to set them up and your good to go. Program them anyway you need, on at dusk, off at dawn, on or off at any time of day or night any number of days you want, and they work flawlessly. The outlets I have outside work no matter the weather, they're just as durable as you need. We have one that's located 60-70 feet outside, from our home and we can easily control it from inside our house. Did you leave the house and leave something plugged into a timer you didn't really want to have come on when you're not home? Just go into the app and turn it off, from wherever you are. Honestly I can't say enough good things about these plugs. The only scary part is when you have several of them scheduled to turn on at one certain time, like say dusk and all of sudden you're walking around and click, click, click, lights are coming on everywhere. Oh, and if your internet goes down, you won't have control of them through the app. But you can walk up to any plug, push the button on the side and it'll turn on or push the toggle on the light switch it'll still turn on. And they don't lose their programing, if the internet's not available, they will still turn on and off just as though they were connected to the internet. Then when your internet connection returns, they automatically reconnect, just like any other device you might have.

I love these things!
Finally getting around to touting just how darn useful these things are! We have been purchasing and installing these around the house in various locations for lamps and fixtures that aren’t hardwired. I have never had one fail and love the ability to install, configure (including creating groups of fixtures in the free Kasa app) and create schedules for fixtures. Want to know how bad we were bit by the bug? We now have 17 of them spread around the house and garage :-)

Great product and brand but some connectivity problem with smart plug
Bought box of four mini smart plugs over a year ago and used one immediately. No problem connecting and worked seamlessly with Alexa. Extremely satisfied with options including scheduling, keeping track of time in use and other features. But when I tried to use the second one this year, could not connect. No telephone number for support. Spent an hour in chat box with tech support and it was useless. They had no clue as to what the problem was or how to solve it. Somehow, while on hold with tech chat support, it started working. Then tried to connect the third one, repeating everything I did with the second one. Spent several days with no results. Then tried turning off the TP link which is needed to communicate with plug, then turning it back on. Now it worked. Apparently, need to reload that link to cure connectivity problem. Once that was solved I now have three working plugs all doing everything I wanted plus more. It may also be necessary to discconect any vpn on your computer while trying to install this. I strongly prefer the Kasa brand. When it works (which is most of the time), it is very easy to use and provides multitudes of options. I will continue to prefer this brand in the future, notwithstanding that connectivity problem with the plugs. Note: now connected 4th plug, again turning the tp link off and then on again. Everything working. Update: same connectivity problem with Kasa switches. There is a telephone number to call for help but it is buried in dozens of pages of verbiage and fine print. Once I got through I was able to get the switches working as well. Subtracted one star for difficulty in connectivity and difficulty in contacting support, especially the difficulty in finding the support telephone number.

Easy to connect; handy to power things remotely
We have had multiple brands of WiFi plugs and Kasa is the brand I prefer (vs Amazon, TP-link). I prefer Kasa bc their app is so user friendly. I can connect easily (hardest part is just figuring out which one is yours and that’s as easy as going to your order). It’s easy to set up a schedule, set a timer, turn your schedule on and off, etc. we use these plugs to control devices at our vacation rental. When no one is there, I don’t have the driveway lights on to help conserve them. Our keyless entry lock was dying rapidly recently when connected to WiFi but I needed the ability to change codes. So I hooked the hub up to this, turn it on when I need it, and turn it off after I’m done to conserve battery in our lock. I plug our Christmas tree into it for when guests forget to turn it off after they’ve left. I’ve even used it to set a schedule for our counter top ice maker at home. And of course it still allows you to control it with Alexa. It is the best device for people who own vacation rentals but so handy in your own home. I’ve used them for over 6 years now and still prefer it. Would definitely buy again.

Great little smart plug
I’m really happy with this smart plug. Setup was fast and easy, and I had it connected to the app within minutes. The app is simple to use, and being able to turn devices on and off from my phone is very convenient. I mainly use it for lamps and small appliances, and it has worked reliably. The scheduling feature is my favorite because I can automate my lights without having to remember to switch them on or off. Voice control with Alexa/Google Assistant is also a nice bonus.

Game changer for lamps – schedules work flawlessly
I recently added more lamps around my house and needed an easy way to control them all – these smart plugs delivered exactly that. Setup with Google Home was super quick; just a few taps in the app and they were paired and ready to go. Now I can turn each of my lamps on or off with a voice command or a single tap on my phone. But the real win? Scheduling. I've set them to turn on at dusk for ambient lighting and shut off automatically before bedtime, so I never have to double-check that everything is off. And when I travel, I can create random on/off schedules to make the house look lived-in. They work flawlessly and the price is hard to beat. Highly recommend if you want to simplify your lighting routine.

It's a relatively small form factor smart plug.
I've always thought that the Kasia is a great deal: it's pretty cheap (especially in packs), its got a small form factor to minimize the wall wart issue, and its integrated with Alexa, Google Assistant, SmartThings and IFTTT. I really do wish that it had HomeKit integration so that I could trigger it with Siri as well, but I do recognize that ends up being a premium feature/cost that would require me to push to a different price bracket. When it comes to automation, the Kasia is perfectly serviceable: It was a bit strange to set up at first, you trigger the Pairing feature on the device like normal, which generates a small WiFi network you connect to, and then you connect that Network to your Home Network so that it can integrate. That... Was unique for me. I am used to Bluetooth pairing where I just connect to the device and tell it to either connect to my home network, or it just copies over the network connection info I have right now. Once I realized that was how it wanted me to set it up, setting up the subsequent ones went fine. The one thing that did surprise me - and maybe this is normal, I don't have a big background in smart plugs as I usually try to automate the device itself versus the plug - is there is a very audible Click that happens when you power on/off the device via the plug. Not a big issue by any means, but something that did surprise me. The app offers you device usage statistics, but I admittedly have never opened the app after I set up the devices - which I think is a pro, because it means that its been absolutely a set up once and forget. All adjustments subsequently have just been made in the Google Home app, and I haven't had any issues.

Buenos enchufes

Very useful and reliable.
Great smart device that works well. I prefer a plug to a smart bulb. They are very reliable in regards to connectivity. Also simple to set up. You can control the devices connected to the smart plug while you're away from home at any time. With Alexa you can turn all your lights on or off at the same time with one phrase such as "Alexa goodnight" or "Alexa let there be light" You can customize the lights you want on or off with these functions. The plugs work well and do similar functions with google also - win win! Convenient and a bit of fun!
