does anyone know about the life of the strips? I got one in December(opened since then) & these aren't giving me any results now(worked fine earlier)

If you are in ketosis after a while strips cease to show it - the reason is this... When your liver first starts producing ketones your body does not know how to use them so they are expelled in your urine and the strips detect them and change to a darker colour. After a week or two in ketosis your body adapts and starts to use the ketones as fuel - they are no longer expelled because they are being consumed to keep you running so the strips won't show anything. Strips are only good for determining whether you have entered a state of ketosis. To get an accurate idea of what level of ketosis you are actually in you need a blood KETONE meter (NOT a glucose meter).

Are these packed in sachets of 25 or altogether in the bottle? The photos are confusing as show both!

I bought them to test my dogs urine . She's diabetic, they were accurate just to check that she had no ketones
