I bought this as some protection for the roll bar that I installed in my NB Miata. It fits the roll bar very well, however you will need to trim it to fit and you absolutely, definitely need to use some sort of strapping to keep it attached to the bar because the sticky stuff on this will not hold it alone. Protect your Noggin! Get some roll bar padding because it's also a hpde inspection item

Strong quality, but the tape comes off of the padding when removing the protective paper. I used zip ties along with the adhesive.

Single layer padding. If needed to go around a tight bend, you'd have to make relief cuts. Spray cement + metal zipties, or easy liner + plastic zips for a temporary install. Be careful if using plastic zips, the will degrade in sun and heat, which means they won't hold the padding when you need it.

Easy install, is bendable but not very much. Maybe if you let it warm up a bit in the sun it can fit onto bends easier. Does its job. Would recommend for price and quality.

Get your own tape, velcro or straps since the tape it comes with is lame and near useless. The foam itself is extremly firm and should serve the purpose of person protection during an accident. Pushing as hard as you can with a finger, the foam will barely give at all. This stuff is designed to reduce the risk of broken bones in an accident, not provide "comfort". It is labeled SFI 45.1 USI. The outside "box" shaped dimensions are close to 1.25" x 1.75" x 36". The cutout for the bar is about 0.5" deep and 1.5" across. At the thickest point, the foam is about 0.75" thick. It flexes enough that it might fit a 90 degree bent bar with a radius no tighter than about 6 to 8 inches.

I finally went to install this product on my car and it was as hard as a rock and cracked/broke with any attempot to bend it the slightest bit. Absolute crap...and i missed the return window. Shame on this vendor .

I bought this item as described as protective padding but is almost as hard as the steel I’m trying to protect myself from. Unless your already wearing a helmet this is useless!

I think you should use a better product like 3M rather than the non sticking product on there now. I would if returned them but unfortunately I waited too long to order this product in time for my season opener racing

Not impressed at all!!! Purchased 2 pieces, seperate orders, went to install on the rollbar of my dragster last week and both pieces broke !!! I just finished having frame Powder Coated and I was assembling for meet this weekend. Very limited flexibility!!! Tried after first break to salvage enough to finish and broke again! Again, not impressed and passed of because I'm missing weekend meet this weekend because car won't pass tech without it!!!!!!!!!!
