This is the best black and Decker I've ever had. My last one lasted 25 years. This one has excellent suction. I love the extension too. It's easy to charge and sits upright for easy access. I love it for quick coffee ground spills and clean ups from the kids cookies and snack.

In Spring and Summer, at night I usually leave the kitchen door open to get cool air into the house, which then maps to not needing to run the air-conditioner during day and saves money on electricity ($100 or $200 a month savings). I have screen doors, but there are gaps, and house or horse flies get into the kitchen, so I spray them with flying insect spray. The result is no flies, but then there are a lot of dead flies on the kitchen countertop. I got this Black & Decker 12V mini-vacuum specifically to deal with dead flies, but also to use to clean the carpets in my car for small stuff (leaves, dirt, and so forth). The unit arrived a few minutes ago, and I used it to get the dead flies. It's perfect, and I am very happy. You might think, "Why not just sweep them with a brush?", but it's not so easy. The kitchen countertop has various items scattered around--covered so flies don't get on it--so sweeping into a scoop with a brush will not work. Done that way I would need to remove everything on the kitchen countertop, which is not practical or easy to do. With the Black & Decker 12V mini-vacuum, I extend the nozzle, and it's easy to get between items on the kitchen countertop. I'm in a rural area, so there is no practical way to avoid flies, including horse flies which are bigger than house flies. The Black & Decker 12V mini-vacuum provides the desired solution and is easy to use, to clean, and to recharge. It's an excellent product!

I have a 2 bed 2 bath 1000sqft duplex with all hardwood floor. I got this mainly to pickup dust along my baseboards and the crumbs from my 2yr old because a broom alone does not get everything and I don't want to drag a full size vacuum across wood floors. The battery life is a challenge to meet my needs, if I move quick enough I can get a good portion of the spaces done in one time but, if I use the stronger speed it cuts down that time quite a bit. I'm not sure if it's the suction or the angle of the tip but I seem to have to hold it a certain way for it to fully get inside crevices like the tracks on a closet door. Even sucking up food crumbs from my child it sometimes takes multiple passes over the same spot. So, a little disappointed with the performance as I thought it would be like the old school dust buster my grandma used to have when I was a kid. It's very light so it is easy to carry around and maneuver, it's also easy to empty the canister and clean the filter. I'm not sure how it compares to other brands as this is the first I've owned, if given the option again I'd probably try a different one based on the battery life and suction power but, it does get the job done for small crumb messes.

Does a great job in my car. Dirt, sand, you name it. I keep it plugged in , in my garage. Has good suction strength and adjustable nozzle.

This is well worth the money spent for it, love the size , is not too heavy, gets in the tight spots , would definitely recommend this

Love this powerful little vacuum! It’s the perfect size for a quick pickup. The shape is great for vacuuming the onion peels out of the produce drawer! It has two speeds You just have to press the power button twice to change the power setting from low to high. Battery life is good: longer at normal power, shorter at full power. Plugging it in for a recharge will show the battery’s current status, measured in 4 green LED lines. It charges pretty quickly. It’s solidly built and easy to empty. It easily outperforms other comparable vacuums.

The wand needs to be reworked. It does not stay, pulled out while your vacuuming also the angle of the wand it’s just not right and on the first setting vacuum is very weak on turbo. It works fine but then I think the battery runs out too fast. Thank you.

If you don't need brushes, then the Black + Decker HHVK320J10 is the handheld vacuum to buy. Its suction is great, to date I have not needed to use the power boost, and it is solidly built. My only complaint is the extension is a bit difficult to pull out and push back in. I leave the extension out all the time.

I love this dustbuster vac. I struggled for years with one that had a different design that was so difficult to empty the cannister and reattach it. This one couldn't be easier-press one button to open and dump. The dual filters inside are also very easy to remove, clean, and reinsert when necessary. It's got great suction and is super easy to charge-just plug it in. There are no bases for it to sit in and no battery to remove and reinstall to charge. It's also not too heavy.

Muy potente, me ayuda a limpiar muy bien los sillones pues tiene dos niveles de potencia que puedo regular, el indicador de batería me gusta mucho pues puedo saber cuánto le queda o cuánto le falta por cargar, pesa poco. El único punto negativo es que la batería le dura poco pero me permite limpiar lo necesario.

Bastante efectiva y funcional

We have used this product mainly for small clean up jobs over several years. It performs as advertised and has given us satisfactory results with absolutely no issues. We clean the filter regularly but have never needed to replace it.
