Excellent travel bag. Plenty of room for gear. Packed full gear of mine (no wetsuit) and my girlfriend's (plus 2mm wetsuit minus her BC). Weighed 40 lbs with lots of room to spare so another Bc and wetsuit would totally fit and come in under 50lb weight restriction. Great protective straps inside and out. Completely balanced- does not fall over while standing up. Easy handles for tossing in vehicle, convenient back pack straps for hands free. Extention handle does lock and makes a difference if you are tall so the bag doesn't hit your heels. Couldn't be happier. if you excursion after travel, get the Backpack mesh duffel deluxe/elite- I packed that in the bag for the 40 lb weight too.

Great bag to store your diving gear and clothes. I have a similar sized Samsonite bag which is really sturdy but also weighs 5 lbs more so this is definitely the bag to use if you need the extra gear. Just be sure to check you are at 50 lbs or under for air flight because the overweight charge is a killer.

Arrived on time, this is a fine piece of dive luggage. Very roomy, I can get everything into it except BCD and tank, and get to the dive boat from the parking lot in one trip. Separate little bag for stuff is handy. Planning on taking it to Mexico, so we'll see how that goes.

Buddy of mine has had his bag for over a decade. Me, 5 years and dozens of trips. Rock solid, just buy it.

The bag is what I expected and the quality is fine. The fin pockets on the side actually do fit my fins. I was pleasantly surprised by that. The interior holds as much as I had in my previous bag, but it is wider than I had previously. Not wide enough to cause an issue, however, the interior has a relatively hard shell and if your intent is to go on a day boat and there is not a lot of room, do not expect to simply crumple this up and shove it under your seat. It has good plastic tires that do not make a lot of noise 'buzzing' through the airport, and it has hidden shoulder straps that allow you to carry it like a back pack. All in all I am quite pleased. The lack of 1 star is due to its width and the room it needs. I would rather it be longer and narrower.

This bag was extremely useful for a dive trip to Iceland. The gear needed included a drysuit and a very warm undergarment as well as my backplate, big fins, and some warm clothes. It all fit in this bag. I bought one for me and one for my daughter for the same trip. She was delighted.

Bought for a trip to Belize. Really big. Checked on plane.. No problem. Size is close to airline baggage specs for oversize, but just makes it. Carried all dive gear except regulator. Regulator would have put me over the fifty pound mark. Rolled well in the airport and in the streets of Belize.

One trip wonder here - bought this for a trip down to Turks & Caicos - it didn't survive the FIRST flight as one of the wheels broke. The wheels are large and the axle tore from the plastic casing to secure it so the wheel became useless. I had to drag the bag around with that one wheel cocked sideways and jammed. Very expensive bag and I expected MUCH better than this. It had 46 pounds in it - so definitely not overloaded. This is the first product review I have ever written but felt compelled to by the cost of this bag and my utter disappointment with it.

Sehr gut verarbeitete Reisetasche. Sie bietet sehr viel Platz für die gesamte Tauchausrüstung und das zusätzliche Reisegepäck. Selbst bei einer Beladung von 30 Kg lässt sich die MARES Reisetasche ohne Mühe ziehen, dank der großen Räder. Auch die Schultergurte sind von großem Nutzen, wenn es z. B. über den Strand geht. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Per un subacqueo è la borsa-zaino perfetto, molto spaziosa, altezza che consente anche il trasporto di pinne lunghe, fino a 80 cm, è ricca di tasche cernierate e ha in dotazione un beauty-case comodissimo. Fantastica

Sac à la hauteur de ses promesses. Remplace le premier modèle de Beuchat ( même type de sac) qui m'a fait 3 saisons, mais dont les roues, et les attaches métalliques des lanières de transport ont rendu l'âme. Le Mares est plus léger (tant mieux), semble très bien fabriqué, et bien conçu, sauf : Seul GROS défaut : Les poches palmes ne sont pas extérieures, comme on peut le croire (ou comme sur le Beuchat), mais sont intérieures.. seules les fermetures d'accès sont externes : Ceci veut dire que si vous ne videz pas votre sac avant de rentrer les palmes, il est IMPOSSIBLE de les rentrer dans le sac... ranger ses palmes en premier, une habitude à prendre.

I'm very pleased with this product! As you can see in the pictures, I have my backplate and wing, my regulator bag, my fins, and my drysuit fit completely fine. All zipped up and the zippers don't have any stress on them. I also like the small pocket by the telescopic handle. I'm very happy with the build quality - however I haven't used it for real use yet. I will update my review after several dives.
