I had to think about this when giving it a 5 stars but in the end I did so based on it being a value for what it is. These are durable lights in my opinion - the wires thicker and leds protected from common knocks and bangs while unpacking and stringing up. They are not the cheapest, but I think I will get several years of use.What some might give it a Four Star rating for is the colors. They are not intense, deep colors like a Philips light strand, but then these are 1/3 the cost even if you already own a bridge for those lights like I do. These colors are a touch more pastel and some may prefer that. The green and the blue are more pronounced. Orange and yellow, pretty and pleasing. Red, well, to me, the red borders on deep orange but it is the kind of thing people will debate like is this sweater red or orange.Overall I love the color effect as they fade from one color to another slowly. That is my preferred setting but there are others to choose from and the transition speed is adjustable.I do love that the length of the plug in, non-lighted section of the light strand is about 8' long to reach the outlet. This is on top of the 16.5' section with lights. So it reaches the outlet and is unlighted on the section of wire I want to hide.

These lights are quite heavy duty. I got the crystal looking balls and they will not shatter or break. I have them installed in my bus as mood lighting. They look fabulous and draws quite an amount of attention. The best part of these lights, is that you can hook them up via USB to a battery bank. This allows you the flexibility to where you can install the lights without needing to plug into an outlet socket.I am very pleased with these lights since they look like they can handle a lot of bouncy roads and still hold up nicely. The remote is also a nice touch.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  These lights are beautiful! The bulbs are a heavyweight plastic that I can’t see being harmed easily. They sparkle so beautifully and I’m loving it! They have a very good weight to them and worked perfectly for my breezeway window, measurement wise. Might be slightly smaller then the 16 feet listed but not by much. The video shows a breezeway that’s 4ft top 4ft bottom and about 3.5 each side. The length of plug end cord is very sizable so you don’t have to be right next to a plug-in with this set! The remote is amazing as well. Works from a very good distance. Has many different speed settings and color options. I want to keep this light set up year around now! Pink or red for Valentine’s Day, green for st Patrick’s day, Red or green for December and everything in between! So many options! Fade, Jump options and a timer! Highly recommending this light set! I’m wholly impressed! I need to buy at least one more set! This would be beautiful as tree lights too, stunning!

We do a lot of primitive glamping and I wanted to try these out to replace the regular plug-in string lights we've been using the past few years. They were AMAZING. We set up not long before dark and it was so great to have lighting immediately on hand without waiting for the generator to be unloaded and set up. We used a USB power bank instead: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07R9RMZJD/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_.AmkEbGBVG784Pros:We ran two of these on one power bank for in-tent lighting for FIVE evenings/nights, and they drew so little power the power bank still had almost half a charge left!The air bubbles in the light globes are really pretty. We got tons of compliments. The colors are excellent too.... lots of pastel/tertiary colors, not just primary and secondary colors. We LOVED the "ASYN FADE" setting. It's super pretty while still creating a very comfortable, steady, ambient light you can see well in.The cord is MUCH nicer than standard string lights... lighter, thinner, more flexible, and less noticeable. Much easier to untangle and handle than regular string lights, too. Clipping them around the inside perimeter of the tent took less than half the time and effort our old string lights did.The smaller/lighter cord mean these pack smaller and lighter than standard string lights. Will save me a bunch of space in our deco bin.Cons: Absolutely nothing!!! I'm ordering 3 more sets as soon as I post this review. Couldn't recommend these more highly.

These are nice lights overall. My only issue was that I found out pretty fast that my TV remote makes the lights flicker when they are on and I use my TV remote to watch TV. It's like the TV remote runs on a similar frequently as the lights. So these might be better to put in a bedroom or a room where the TV remote might not interfere with them. This small issue isn't bad so I only too one star off the review.

I was so surprised how hefty and heavy duty these lights are! When I ordered them I knew I wouldn't use the USB, but it plugged easily into the adapter and into my wall. I also thought I probably would not use the remote, because I don't much like "gadgets", but the remote is very usable and actually necessary to access all the different settings. I use string lights year round on my kitchen window and buy a lot of different lights (because they usually don't last long) but these just seem "better", so I am back buying another set before they are sold out, which they will be because they are so great. So many colors and 4 fun settings plus 4 different speeds. Oh I will have fun with these in this coming dark season! I will turn them down slow and fading at night, and have them fast and ASYN in the evenings and mornings when I get up. Good job whoever made these! You will not regret this purchase.

Bought for smaller trees but love them colours remote all of that but they are quite heavy so i will have to see how they do on smaller tree will let you all know when time

I ordered three sets of these lights and I am very pleased with them. The colours provided are exceptional and all three sets can be easily controlled (and colours synchronized) with one remote. Highly recommended!
