So obviously we’ve got a mix of opinions here. Scrolling through I read “On a scale of 1-10 these are only a 3”, and “I love sour, but wow these are too sour” among many other varied comments.So, to throw my Opinion Hat in the ring: These things are so delicious I could cry. My grandpa always had them stocked at his house growing up, and they were all over the place in the part of Texas I’m from. Now, I’m in Tennessee and most don’t even know what these are or that they exist. Someone made a comment, “sour pickles? Oh yeah we get those at Sam’s.” They were referencing dill pickles. 🤦🏽‍♀️I love these things! Can’t wait until my next order comes in.Also to people saying they taste like plastic: so confusing, no idea what they’re talking about, never have I ever tasted even a hint of plastic with these. Maybe a secret anti-plastic group trying to boycott plastic products? Haha

These are so awful. I was a big fan of sour pickles when I was a kid. I was able to find some at a local grocery store a while back. But now they no longer carry them. I took one bite of the Best Maid and they were awful. They were sour but had a terrible underlying taste. They come in a plastic jar. Maybe that’s it. But the bottom line is I find them inedible. I threw them away. Might as well have burned a $20 bill. Highly not recommend

Here in North Carolina. We have a little town called Mount Olive. They are know for Mount Olive Pickles. It's hard to find Sour Pickles in a gallon Glass Jar in most super markets around my area. We have a Piggly Wiggly that sells these but we were unable to take this 45 min. drive to get these. I thought buying Best Maid on Amazon would be just as good since they are grown and packaged in the South. Well, I was wrong. The pickles came in a gallon plastic jug. This really does change the taste. Second, few of pickles had blemishes on them. I have never gotten a blemish pickle from Mount Olive, never, ever never. My wife makes the best Relish. And these Best Maid pickles just didn't have the same results as Mount Olive ones. So in the future, we are going to just have to take that ride to Piggly Wiggle if we want the better ones. Some things are just worth the drive.
