Allen Carr's Easyway method has now been applied to the problem of emotional eating. By unravelling the brainwashing process behind your addictive behavior, you can now eat what you want, when you want, and be the exact weight you desire. Do you eat when you're not hungry? Or when you're angry and upset? Do you eat to control your feelings? Allen Carr's Easyway is the most successful self-help stop-smoking method of all time. It has helped millions of smokers all over the world to quit, and has since been used to treat other addictions such as drinking and gambling. Allen Carr's Easyway method works by unravelling the brainwashing that leads us to desire the very thing that is harming us, meaning that we are freed from the addiction rather than merely restricting our behavior. The Easyway method has now been applied to the problem of emotional eating. With Allen Carr's Easyway method, you can eat as much of your favorite foods as you want, whenever you want, as often as you want, and be the exact weight you want to be, without dieting, special exercise, using willpower or feeling deprived. Do you find that difficult to believe? Read this book. What people say about Allen Carr's Easyway method: "The Allen Carr program was nothing short of a miracle." Anjelica Huston "His skill is in removing the psychological dependence." The Sunday Times "I know so many people who turned their lives around after reading Allen Carr's books." Sir Richard Branson Review: I am finally free! - I just finished reading "Allen Carr's Easy Way to Quit Emotional Eating: Set yourself free from binge-eating and comfort-eating," and I can't express enough how transformative this experience has been for me. With a BMI of 30.9, I have struggled with emotional overeating for years, feeling trapped in a cycle of guilt and frustration. This book has been a revelation. Allen Carr’s approach is refreshingly different from typical diet books. It doesn’t focus on what to eat but rather on changing the mindset around food. It helped me understand the emotional triggers behind my eating habits and provided clear, practical steps to overcome them. The language is straightforward, compassionate, and incredibly motivating. What struck me the most was the emphasis on freedom. For the first time, I don't feel like I'm fighting a battle with food or myself. Instead, I feel empowered and at peace. This book gave me the tools to re-evaluate my relationship with food, and I am now making healthier choices without feeling deprived or overwhelmed. If you're struggling with emotional eating or simply want to change how you think about food, I highly recommend this book. It has changed my life, and I am confident it can do the same for you. I am finally free, and I owe it all to this incredible guide. Review: It Worked! - I have been trying to lose weight for a long long time, but always gained it back and then some. I came to understand about 5 years ago that my problem wasn't the weight, but the way I gained it which was via binge eating. I read about it and tried different self-treatments via apps and books but none of them worked. This is the only book I've seen that treats binge eating as an addiction. I took reading the book and doing exactly what it said very seriously, and thankfully it worked! I have not binged in more than 3 months. I have magically lost 16 pounds without even trying. It's crazy how this book kills your desire to eat junk food anymore. I can look at a whole table of junk food and not feel any desire. And I have no urges to binge eat late at night. Thanks to Mel Gibson - there is a video of him talking about how he quit smoking through Allen Carr's book and how easy it was. I saw that and wondered if Allen Carr had anything on eating, and found this book. This book probably saved my life!

very useful and articulate book
Very good rationales and explanations. At moments I found it quite repetitive although I guess it is what it takes to stop an addiction.

It works like magic!!!!!!!
I don't know how this book did this to me. I was addicted to emotional eating for 10 years and thought I was trapped FOREVER! This book freed me from the trap! My version of "junk food" is actually "cooked food", so this book helped me to FINALLY go raw! It helped me realize why I was so addicted to eating cooked food, and systematically destroyed my addiction to emotional eating. Don't listen to the bad reviews, I think they just don't like to read and didn't actually "take in" the book. This book kills your addiction by CHANGING YOUR BELIEFS, and that is how you kill an addiction, NOT willpower! This book is amazing! Buy it!!!!!! I will be recommending this and all Allen Carr's easyway methods to everyone I know with an addiction! Will report back in a few months to tell you how much weight I lose!

Lots of repetition
I am only 2/3 of the way through this book but from the beginning I was motivated to eliminate certain items from my diet. I haven’t yet finished the book but so far it has told me what NOT to eat but hasn’t said what TO eat. I do feel that the information in the book could have been summed up in one chapter instead of multiple chapters as there is a whole lot of repeating.

I am free and you can be, too!
I fell into the trap of binge-eating sweets in my childhood as a way to cope with a violent alcoholic father. For the next 57 years, I continued to respond to stress by overeating sugar. This book helped me face the fact that sweets do not provide any comfort to me and that sugar has never taken away any of my problems. Instead, each binge left me sick to my stomach, lethargic, and disgusted with myself. I followed all the instructions in the book and found the repetition helpful. Three weeks ago when I was completing the Final Feast, I knew that I was done eating sweets. Period. Refined sugar is of no benefit to me whatsoever - instead, it is like a bad boyfriend that I finally have left for good. Here is a sentence from the book that I think summarizes Easyway quite well: Easyway is about unraveling the misconceptions that drive you to do something that does you harm in the belief that it will give you pleasure. If you read the book with an open mind, you can be free, too!

You must buy this book.
I have been trying to figure out a few questions, like how and why I keep torturing myself eating crap. I have struggled for years with this. I read it a week ago and stopped immediately. It is so simple, but it gets you right where you need to be. I have quit for a week now and for the skeptics out there, only time will tell.

OMG! It worked!
I was skeptical because I have been trying for ages to get my eating under control. I got sick and lost a lot of weight and I don’t want to put it back on so I bought this. By the time I was done reading I no longer had any urge to splurge! My husband is listening to the audio book and he turned down cake on his birthday last week. Unbelievable. I have already pre-ordered the one on getting exercise. My hubby also quit smoking with after 45 years smoking and probably a dozen failed attempts. He hasn’t even craved a cigarette since. Don’t hesitate. Buy this book!!

Just keep reading and re reading for freedom
I don't remember how long it has been since I quit smoking, I was half way through my 3rd read of ACs easy way to quit when it clicked. I didn't want to smoke, I don't need to finish the book. It's been years now. I can even drink and be merry without sucking down a dirty hurry these days. Its been a few months since I ate chocolate now, before I ate 1 or 2 blocks every night with half a litre of choclate milk. Pizzas, wings, junk galore. I have been slipping a bit so I will re read it. Maybe it will be the last time.

Life changing!
I have been a yoyo dieter since my early teens. At 55 years old, I was so tired of this that I had to find a solution. About 20 years ago, I read Allen Carr's book "The Easy way to quit smoking" and I easily quit without any cravings or effort and never looked back. Because of that success, I thought I would give this a try. I read the book and it made a lot of sense but I'm an auditory learner so I also purchased the audiobook and listened to it again from start to finish. That was back in January of 2021. I now eat whatever I want but I find I eat way less because I only feel the need to eat when I am hungry. I also no longer have cravings for chips and salty snacks, which was my problem food. Without any effort, I have lost 14 lbs. It came off very slowly but I didn't care because I no longer had the guilt that I used to feel after eating an entire bag of chips while watching a movie. Besides the weight loss, my blood pressure is down and my heart rate has dropped significantly. This book will work for you if you are willing to change your mind about food. It also helps you realize how you are a victim of the advertising agencies and the messages you constantly hear about "comfort food" in the media. I recommend this if you are sick and tired and you dread trying yet another diet.

It works
I had done the Easyway to stop vaping and haven’t even wanted to vape since. And although I have about an hour left of this to listen to on Audible - I’m already making much better food choices and bought apples today instead of biscuits. Reading a few reviews here - Being Repetitive is mentioned. It has to be repetitive as this is working as a kind of manta. It’s literally hammering the point home but repeating various facts that help us reinforce our resolve to quit emotional eating. This is the classic way these kind of things work. Hypnosis is similar and this acts in a similar way speaking to the subconscious and conscious mind. It’s not brain washing as we’re all willing and listening with success in mind. But it has to overturn the brain washing of the food industry and our own unhelpful thinking. I like the idea of ‘would you advise someone to have a little bit of heroin’? And I like the idea that emotional eating never makes things better. It’s full of useful phrases and ideas. And it should work for you if you want it to.
