When packaged plants first arrived boxes looked as if run over by truckWas pleasantly surprised that due to excellent packaging in very good shape with only dirt scatteredObviously, an indication of warrior plantsI received them roughly 5 months ago since purchased have survived a fire, flood, 4 moves, and 5 dogs

I bought this snake plant along with another from amazon. The other arrived first and was packaged poorly (small smooshed in box, surprisingly that plant was intact upon opening box) and the first plant only has 3 leaves about 1.5 feet tall total. This plant however, was huge, healthy, and packaged in a thick cardboard box with no external damage. This plant is SO beautiful and healthy. I was not really expecting it to be so big and therefore I was able to divide it up into SIX new plants individually to fit the smaller pots I have. Also there is a rhizome baby that hopefully I can grow into a 7th snake plant. I have to absolutely recommend this beautiful plant if you are interested in a snake plant. It would also have looked wonderful to keep it all together and put it in a large floor pot (can't happen in my house due to a cat who's biggest love in life is to destroy plants haha). The variety is Black Coral and some leaves are very dark almost-black green and others are dark but variegated.

I’ve purchased several plants online and had them shipped. These aren’t packed with “love”, but rather enough to get them to their location. This is my experience with most bigger companies like this one, so it’s what I expected.The plants themselves are larger with healthy roots. There are multiple leaves with “flaws”, but these aren’t from a small local nursery/seller either. Overall they are good healthy plants for just under $15. Seeing the prices at local nurseries for these same plants yesterday, I’m pretty satisfied with my purchase. Just don’t expect perfection.

I ordered my moonshine and was so excited to get it. To my disappointment when it came through UPS the packaging alone was crushed in on the sides. If you ever watched the first Ace vVentura you'll have an idea what this poor plant looked like. Brused all over, broken leaves, broken pot damaged roots. I called Amazon and they had another shipped right out. Notes must have been made with UPS as the 2nd plant came and was in much much better condition. Only a couple leaf tips broken which can easily happen in shipping. 2nd plant is still lovely and doing well and I am very happy with it.

This lovely Black Coral Mother in law's tongue is the perfect plant for any size indoor space. It literally starts growing the moment you get it and put it in a pot! Burpee is an amazing seller with the knowlegs on packing and shipping love plants so they arrive alive and safe! This plant is well with the price and it is money well spent. You don't get a small starter plant. The plant that I received was already 10" to a foot tall! It is lush and green with new shoots. It is fine in my sad little windowless kitchen. Being in that room, it's presence makes my kitchen much less sad and brightens my demeanor everytime I see it. Thanks Burpee for an amazing little plant baby and for being so awesome!

Absolutely gorgeous. It also had a bunch of babies. So worth the money.

I’ve had this snake plant for just under a year now & it is absolutely magnificent! When it arrived it was packed very carefully and was almost a foot taller than I thought it would be but I wasn’t complaining :) just means I didn’t have to wait for it to grow as I was looking to use it to help cover up an unsightly fire extinguisher in the corner of my tiny apartment that was just ruining the vibe/aesthetic of my apartment. Now everyone notices and comments on my beautiful plant along with its planter & planter holder. But they don’t even notice the extinguisher until I point it out haha.In this year I’ve never re-potted it as the directions that came with it said. I just put a saucer with rocks inside the decorative planter then plopped the pot on top. I will say I do take it out of the decorative planter to water it that way I can dump the excess water from the saucer before placing it back.I love that it doesn’t need a lot of sunlight & is thriving in my apartment which I keep between the range of 60-75. Also the ability for it to withstand underwatering is KEY for me. I travel for work (well before c19 *sigh*) and can be gone from anywhere from 1-3 weeks since this baby likes dry soil I’ve had no problems.I will say don’t overwater you’ll get white fungus/mold on top of the soil. I got paranoid bc I accidentally forgot to water it for maybe a month so I gave it a double dose of water & I got fungus. But if this happens to you don’t worry! As long as it’s just on the soil & not the plant just scrape it off the top layer of soil & boom problem solved! I haven’t had any problems with it coming back since :)All in all, great decision to buy this plant!

This plant was so large and overflowing in pot I was able to make 2 plants when I repotted. Very healthy
