Very happy with this camera!
We were looking for a decent camera for our personal training studio. One we could use to take pictures of the studio, clients, events, and take HD videos for YouTube and the like. I am very much an amatur photographer so I can't really go into great detail about all the settings but I can say, for an average user, this camera takes great pictures even in auto mode. Power up is very quick and time between taking pictures is almost instantaneous. Using our old camera, we had to wait about 5 seconds for it to finish processing before we could take another picture. The 60x zoom is awesome. Got a great few pictures of the moon at 60x and it was done by holding it, not using a tripod. The menu is very easy to get around and just "makes sense" to me. I'm looking forward to learning more about this camera but so far, I am very happy with it. It is a referb but I found no flaws. It came with everything a new camera would come with and was packaged very well. It was not Prime but I still received it two days after ordering. Some have complained about the size of the camera but I have not had any issues with it. It isn't a pocket point and click. I highly recommend this camera to anyone on a budget looking for a camera with a ton of greeat features. Like I said before, I'm not a professional by any stretch so I really cannot comment beyond the basics. Works well in low light conditions, image stabalization is great, pictures turn out well even at high zoom, HD video is crisp with great sound qualityand menu system is very intuitive.

Not what I wanted
I thought I bought a new product and then I notice it said rehab. It is not functioning properly and I need to talk to an Amazon employee but I can't find a phone number to call .... WHY ?????

Good travel choice
This is a decent camera with a great lens range. It won't produce museum-quality pics, but it is a good choice for travel since it is reasonably compact and will cover most any shooting requirement. It is also very inexpensive for what you get.

A nice Bridge Camera for the zoom
Edit: Feb. 2016So far this camera has been good to me though the moon shots that I was hoping to get were not as nice as I would have liked but it does the job just a lot of noise. I also wanted to show some shots that I took too show how great the zoom is since I forgot to do it last time. Still getting use to the camera but I noticed that you really need to have good lighting to get a nice shot. Low lighting just makes it all very fuzzy looking.2015So far I like what I see with this camera thought the image quality can do better but given that it has a 60x zoom its good enough just to have the picture. So far I have been using scene mode and auto for most of my pics and they have all turned out pretty good. This camera is definitely a good starter for a beginner just so that you can get a feel of what a DSLR camera can do and to see if you want to spend the extra money to get one. For me this has definitely made me want to grab a DSLR camera.

Great camera: lightweight, good picture quality...but use link to the manual and have your own photo-editing software...
Bought this as refurbished and it.is.AMAZING!My previous (good) camera was the old-style (non-digital) manual metal-bodied Pentax that used (gasp) REAL film. Love it still, but film is a bear to deal with and the price of not being able to edit on-site is ridiculous. This camera is a dream: lightweight for what it is and what it does, great quality, fabulous filter "toy-settings" and easy to use. That said, there are two caveats that buyers should be aware of:1. No manual included and Google isn't helpful (nor is the Panasonic site). One of the other reviewers on Amazon includes the link. I just printed the whole thing out and put it in a binder, so that if they ever take it down I can still use it.2. The photo-editing software that comes with this camera is on a disk (included), but since my laptop doesn't have a disk reader (many these days do not)...out of luck. The company "is considering" putting a download online (Really? In 2015, when many laptops no longer have disk readers and everyone is editing on their tablets? I "encouraged" them to just do it).If you already use a non-brand-specific photo-editing program, you won't care, but if you like to keep with the brand...well, now you know.

LOVE this camera! Great quality zoom.
This was the only camera I took to Costa Rica and it did everything. I was able to zoom in on sloths, toucans, snakes, caimans, and other wildlife from a faraway, safe distance with up to 60X zoom. It took great shots of hummingbirds & butterflies in action, too. Great HD video shortcut button was handy also. Simply incredible! Everyone in my tour group was struggling to get "the shot" with their point & shoot cameras or smartphones, but not me! The people with the bulky DSLRs with their jumbo Hubble-sized lens had to drag those big, expensive cameras through the rainforest and their pictures didn't look any better than the ones taken on this Lumix. They were so impressed with this Lumix! I think a bunch of people were convinced to buy this camera on Amazon as soon a they return home form this trip.

Good family investment. No problems.Love it.
