TOMIXはトミーテックと同じタカラトミーの子会社じゃが、精度はまるで違う。まさに月とすっぽん、 雲泥の差がある。バンダイのスナップキットにこそ及ばぬものの、殆ど接着材を必要とせず、パーティングラインは上手く目立たないところにくるよう設計されている。組み立てていて精神衛生上とてもいい。 ただ、その分、形状に冒険的な部分（遊び心）が見られないので、物足りなさを感じないと言えば嘘になるが…。 当品は、その名の通り十字路などでよく見かけるタイプの商店で、ダークブラウンとクリームの二個セットとなっている。また、通販サイトに載っている写真とは雰囲気の違う店になるパーツが入っておるから、中華飯店からヨーロッパ風のケーキ屋まで選択肢が広い。
