will this work for a car cooler to prevent battery drain and if so can I set the shut off at 13 volts?

Short answer is no. Min voltage is 17v so no it would not. However if you took say another 12v battery and wired it in series for 24 v but only use the other battery for emergency's you could use the 24v and set the cutoff at 22v and have the relay open in that instance it would kinda work but you would have to have a contactor for the battery connection because of the amperage of the starter.

Is there a link for the MAnual/directions for Ad48?

It comes with a little piece of paper that explains the setup. It is a some device that is configured to activate a form "C" relay based upon a low and high voltage. Example: if the low is set to 48vdc and the high to 50vdc, the relay can be wired to be closed or open between those two voltages.

Are the input and output contacts isolated? i want to bring in my battery voltage (48v dc) and if it gets low cut the 240v ac on the output contacts.

Very good product

Using it to monitor electric utility company low or high voltage to my house. If it is out of the ranges I programed into it, it will start my generator. The generator will run until the utility company electric power is back to normal voltage levels. Very easy wiring and setup.

I removed 2 stars.

I looked closely as I could at the details. The picture shows a precision of .1. Even the picture shows my model number, AD200. I clearly shows 48.0. It is not, presion is at one full volt. I also posted a question about this, and the company never responded. I ordered their model AD48 and it is a precision of .1 volt, as I needed. If you need .1, this is not it.
