What's the inner diameter of the glass? Will it fit a 2x2x2" ice cube?

It fits one 2.5" ice sphere that I make with my Tovola mold. It fits exactly.

does anyone know if there is a vacuum between the 2 layers of glass?

Here's the dealio: These are partial vacuum double wall containers. The typical solution (ie., Bodum) has a little silicone gasket that allows the air pressure inside match outside. Pure dry air is an OK insulator, but humid air is not that good. So unless you live in Tucson, there is a large difference in insulation between partial vacuum Sun's Tea glasses and any other double wall solution. I had a cocktail at 5:30 with a 2 inch ice ball. It was low 80's, dropped to probably 70 by 11 PM, when I noticed my glass still had a ~ 1 inch ball of ice left. The bodum's I used to use would be melted by two hours, plus or minus.
