Didn’t last 2wks…
I gave it two stars, as opposed to one only because it looked like it might handle the first storm, and it was relatively easy to put together less than two weeks of having it and the first storm pretty much bent the supports (see pics). I used all of the equipment that came with it, to Include sand in the sandbags to make the poles more sturdy We even bought better tiedowns to keep the legs in place, but it’s just not built strong enough to handle a storm wasn’t even a big storm, but the wind in the rain were just too much for the polls. I wasn’t expecting a miracle but I had hoped it would last at least a season. If you’re looking for something to keep the bugs out for a couple hours this might work for you if you’re looking for something to keep you dry and the bugs out you might wanna look for something more sturdy. Later that same day, it just rained that’s the third picture

It's a Pop-Up Canopy!
I'm not sure what the story is with most of the bad reviews regarding stability/quality. It's a pop-up canopy! Here's what's up...if you're setting this up in the middle of your yard and it's going to be windy then I think you're going to run into issues. This canopy is definitely not designed to be set up and left up all summer because of what I just mentioned. That being said, I'm being rebellious. I have a fenced in patio and I set mine up in the corner so I was able to tie down all four corners of the canopy to my fence (with rope provided to do so). I also used 35 LB sand weights at each leg. On top of that, I've bungie corded the center of each leg to my fence as well. The same day I set this puppy up we had high winds and inclement weather. Wind gusts hit 15-28 miles per hour. I was scared, but set up is cumbersome since I live alone and it'd be cool to just leave it up because it'd be nearly impossible to set up alone/set up isn't as fast as they market. It's easy, but time consuming. It's still up! No tears, no negative effects, etc. If you have the appropriate space to tether this puppy down then you should be good. It's a solid product IMO if you use it correctly. That being said, I'd probably take her down if your area is going to have wind speeds upwards of 30+ miles per hour. I also can't see this holding up the entire season if it keeps taking a beating from the wind like it did night one. Use the product as intended if you don't have the appropriate space to tether it down - as a pop up/not permanent structure and you should be good. You can push the boundaries if you have something to anchor this bad boy down too per my experience. Worth the buy.

I’m thinking of getting a second one.
Yo we messed it up, but I’ll say I did tell him I told you so. Lol. I mention this bc I had let him we needed something to hold it down bc it is windy even with this crazy on and off heat. He disregarded what I said and it flipped over and broke the fabric to the corner you see there on the left, but listen… it’s still in working function and I enjoy the fact that the kids get some shade with this triggering sun. Easy to move around. Material is not bad. A bit confusing at first, but it was easier to put up With 2 people as the instructions mentioned. Everything fit as instructions said it would. The material could be better, I bought the one I was under while taking this picture and it is way studier and stronger for a way cheaper price… I do like the color. No issues with drainage so far even though it does have 2 holes on each side on the top. Update: it did not last much. Unfortunately even with the weights and everything of it getting tied down and all, it broke down. Sad truthfully speaking bc I wanted another one.

Need several people to set up
Once set up, I really like this gazebo. It took three of us to get it up though. I’m short so definitely could not do it by myself. We used sand bags to stabilize it as it is on our concrete patio. It has held up through heavy wind and rain. Definitely don’t recommend keeping it up all the time if you want it to last though. It doesn’t look like material that will hold up indefinitely. It does specifically say to not leave it up in the instructions. I just don’t have the time or several people to help me get it up and down all the time so it stays up. For the price point, I expect it to hold for a little bit as long as we don’t continuously get rain or bad weather. I like the provided bug net. I can close it up and keep the bees out that tend to fly around our porch. The vented top keeps it cool during warmer weather and provides enough shade to keep you out of the hot sun. If you are looking for something inexpensive, but durable for the most part, then I recommend this product. So far haven’t had any issues with it and it has been up for a few months already.

Really Nice Canopy!!
I have just gotten my COOL Spot 11'x11' Pop-Up Gazebo Tent installed in our back yard, and we really like it. One thing I have to say is, if anyone thinks this can be assembled by a woman by herself, who has no previous experience with the installation of this tent, they are mistaken. That is not so much a bad thing, it is just harder than it appears on the video. When we got it assembled, it was a very nice tent that can easily be disassembled, and placed in the tent bag, that comes with the tent. That way you can take it with you anywhere you wish to set it up. It would be very nice for a trip to the park, or the lake. The mosquito netting will keep the annoying insects out, and they will have to go somewhere else to look for someone to bite. It is a very attractive tent. It has the mosquito netting that easily pulls back and ties to the poles, or pulled and zippered together, to enclose your tent, to keep out the bugs. The color of the tent is perfect. It presents a very attractive addition to your backyard or patio. There are plenty of vents to let the air flow through from the top to the bottom. I would suggest maybe getting some tent stakes, that could be altered to fit into the poles, to anchor them better. The stakes provided are very thin metal, that do not anchor the tent enough for strong winds. We were to have our first cold front, in the Houston area, come through the day after we got it set up. When we found out that we would have winds of 40 mph, we decided to take it down, and place it back in the carrying case that comes with it. That was a lot easier than we expected. I think this is a very nice, attractive Gazebo Tent, that is not going to break the bank. Some of these are extremely expensive. This is not. It is well made, and seems like it will stand up to repeated uses. I personally think that is is better to take it down after each use, unless you get the heavier duty tent stakes to anchor it in the ground. All in all we were very glad to have purchased this. It arrived very quickly, and will be used often. It will be a welcome addition for use on my various fishing trips. It gets very hot here on the gulf coast. It got to over 100 degrees several times this summer, with heat indexes of 115 degrees many times. The humidity is a real party pooper, and it is really bad so close to the gulf. This gives you a place to cool off, and protects you from the Texas sun. We are really glad we bought it. Oh and when you put it up a second or third time, it is much easier because you know what to do, and do not have to keep referring to the instructions:)

Loved it! Pleasantly surprised!!
I was skeptical about this purchase but I wanted a pop up with a vented roof for windy days and the rivets to keep the rain from pooling. I wasn’t as concerned with having the netting but I a very happy to say the whole thing was a pleasure all summer. It survived all of the summer storms and the netting was a very pleasant addition. I spend as much time outside as possible during the summer so I was mosquito free at night and fly free when having a meal. I hope it will be protective when yellow jacket season begins here in NY. It was difficult to pop up when putting it up the first time and I had to have a very strong many help and it was even difficult for him.

Keep looking
The second summer it was up on our deck, the canopy ripped in several places. A replacement is $105 - to buy an entirely new one is $135?! Not easy to put up and you better have this sucker nailed down because 15 mph wind will take it right off the deck.
