EQUINOX Farrier Hoof Loop Knife With Pick Head Wooden Handle Premium Quality Razor Edge Blade

I've been taking trimming lessons and recently invested in this hoop knife. I love it, it does 2 jobs in one tool and is a really handy little tool, wish I'd bought one years ago.

Nice enough knife be prepared to put a complete new edge on it so you can sharpen it correctly for use. Takes time but the blade seems durable

Sharp and easy to use, with hand hoofpick built in. Used on shetland and larger horses - worked well on all hooves.

I have never taken a hoof knife out of the package to find it’s completely blunt, until I bought this knife. The only good thing about it is the hoof pick.

The hoof knife arrived dull, so if you buy it, expect to have to sharpen it a lot before use, like I did. Even after a good sharpen, it becomes dull after each hoof (just the bars, not the sole). Horse has some flappy bits of frog that want removing, but I daren't use this knife as think it's just too blunt and will not do a neat job.My own fault, you get what you pay for.
