Will this stay on if powered on and off with wemo? or do you have to press the power button every time power is supplied to the unit?

This misting machine has memory function and do not need to press the power button frequently to turn on or turn off it.

You are correct. It is auto-sensing and compatible with 110-240VAC.

The duration knob is not working. It just goes on forever and the knob keeps turning.

Mine starting doing this too after it was knocked over by a roommate :(
