Everhard Steel Seam Roller, 2" Dia. x 2" Wide MR02040

Very solid, very well made. Has internal ball bearings. Very easy to roll. For a relatively small roller it was a lot heavier (in weight) than I had expected. I consider that a plus for use on level surfaces. The wheel itself appears to be made of plain steel that's not rust-resistant. This probably will not be a problem for my applications, but it may for others. It would have been great if they offered the same model with a stainless steel wheel -- and stainless steel all of the other parts of this roller as well.

I was laying some flooring in the house and needed a small roller to get into places where the larger roller wouldn't fit. This worked just fine!

This is a high-quality product. Very sturdy, heavy, and well made. Extremely smooth bearings. I expect it to last a long time. My only complaint is that the packaging is inadequate. The roller is packaged in a simple thin plastic bag. Amazon ships it in a simple yellow envelope that is incapable of padding such a heavy object. As the envelope is thrown around during shipment the roller is damaged and the bag is torn. It was last thrown onto my concrete steps, denting the roller and cutting the bag open. You can blame Amazon shipping for not adding bubble wrap. And you can blame the Amazon delivery person for not being more careful with such an obviously heavy item. But in the end, the manufacturer should spend 5 cents and wrap the roller in bubble wrap before placing it in the plastic bag. Someone in the shipping chain needs to fix this pointless damage to an otherwise great tool.

Really heavy, it works well in setting hot wood banding, I don’t know what it was designed for but it helps me greatly to apply wood banding once the glue is activated by heat.

Purchased to facilitate installation of Eternabond seal tape on popup seam. Well built and proved very useful. Only complaint would be that the roller began showing some rust after a couple days of sitting in garage after use, but cleans up easily. Rolls smoothly.

You can tell it's American made. It's about 5 times as heavy as the cheaper roller we had. Which makes applying firm pressure nearly effortless. And you don't have to worry about breaking it.

A MUST HAVE if you are installing Peal & Seal roofing membrane. Makes the application easier and ensures adherence. Get it.

I just finished re-doing the roof on my toy hauler and this little tool was a great help. I was skeptical as to it's usefulness until I put it to work. It is very well built - the way they used to build items like this and will way outlast my need for it.
