The Heavy Duty Triple Tier
One heavy duty stand! My problem has always been a heavy key (Voyager, G7, Motif) on the top tier and I'm just nervous the whole performance. The stage/riser gets to moving with dancers (or an excited choir) and lets just say "I've seen the unthinkable happen" but not during my show. The welds look deep and the hardware is tight, not the usual "loose" Chinese 8mm screws you are afraid to tighten very much cause they'll strip out. The arm-position adjuster cams are aluminum with deeply machined teeth that mesh perfectly, not the "stamped steel teeth in tube steel" that I have contended with and had to reinforce twice on my other stands. One cool feature is the forward/reward adjust on the 2nd and 3rd tier arms. The second tier is a tad bit shorter than normal stands, but it seems to be arranged in a "double-manual" type setup for the primary and second key (like a Hammond) to keep the top most key from being too tall for seated players. The top tier has 3 different heights and has an adjustment bolt thru-the-frame for strength. It can be tilted down substantially for seated players. One really cool small detail is one of the feet ends is eccentric and can be rotated to keep the stand from rocking on risers that aren't flat (pretty common). It's not a cheap stand, but with 10 grand worth of keys on it, it was worth it for my peace-of-mind. Well done Quick Lok!

Solid Three Tier Stand
This is the second one of these stands I've owned. The first lasted 7 years of regular gigs. The newer version is more solid, than my older one, it's just better made. As long as you don't have monster keyboards, this works great. I use a Roland RD2000 on the bottom, a 61 key controller for the second tier and a large synth rack on the top. Caution must be used when opening and closing the stand. Make sure you loosen the upper tier arms first or you'll damage the unit sooner or later.

Great, But Could Be Better
The stand does exactly what it’s supposed to. However, there are a few spots that it is a bit wobbly. It’s nothing too bad, but who knows if down the road it could get worse. I still like it though!

Extremely disappointed--flawed design. I sent it back.
After many years of being a satisfied Quik-lok customer, I was greatly disappointed in the execution of this new design. Instead of the trademark Quik-lok locking discs being made of steel and welded to the square tubing of the stand for strength and stability; for the QL 723 they have gone to what appears to be an aluminum disc that inserts into the square tubing but has no provision for tightening. So, while one can certainly tighten the discs to each other as on other Quik-Lok designs, the discs themselves can not be attached tightly enough to the tubing and can very easily be rocked back and forth as well as side to side. Not something I want to put a couple of $3000 synths on. I like that they tried to design in more flexibility in adjustment but they need to take this one back to the drawing board for some serious re-engineering. Also disappointed that it was made in China and not Italy as my five previously purchased Quik-lok products were. But I think this is not so much a case of poor quality control as of a not fully thought-out design. Looking forward to a QL-723A, perhaps, because this thing sucks.

but the second tier seems like it could be higher above first tier as my ...
Seems solid. Some helpful adjustments, but the second tier seems like it could be higher above first tier as my Motif XF is deep and the some of the controls are hard to see, etc. The third tier riser is blocking my Prophet 12's headphone port. But it is possible to slide it forward (towards the player) more than I have it. The item looks different than the item pictured. The knobs are different. And one knob seemed badly scuffed, which was odd as this was listed as new. I might have given it a 4 if I had gotten what was advertised ( did I even get the right model, seems mostly similar.) And there's no excuse for a knob that looks used when there was no damage to package and it was sold as new.

Very pleased with this product and seller.
It’s a strong sturdy well built construction and I use this for standalone studio purposes. Great buy!

Do not buy. Both stands came damaged/broken
Ordered the first stand, which came broken on the right side where tier 1 connects to tier 2. I ordered a replacement and the replacement came with two loose/broken arms where tier 1 connects to tier 2. Tier 1 and Tier 2 do not have enough space in between them. I didn't think this would bother me, but everyone who complains about this is right. Do not buy this stand.

This is an excellent stand, I see some of the reviews here say that Second tier is very close to main tier, As shipped this is true but that’s I think just to get it in the packaging, the Hight of the tiers from each other is fully adjustable although its not obvious how at first and had to read the instructions to work it out, the stand is one of the most sturdy I have ever encountered and the build quality is exceptional, I am using a very havey fully weighted 88 key on the bottom tier and with the top two tiers also populated the whole this still remains very stable with a good solid feeling that pushing it won’t tip it over, the ability to get each keyboard exactly where I want it in the forward plain as well as the Hight and angle makes for the perfect setup. Just read the instructions before posting that the ties are to close together as it may look like that at first but that can be configured.
