is there going to be any replacement blades for cutting line. After a few uses mine is dull and will not cut.

Hi Roger, we do not typically replace the blade on the TYEPRO tool as it has been tested in depth and is good for tens of thousands of cuts. It is only intended to be used with monofilament and fluorocarbon lines and not braided lines. Please e-mail support@TYEPRO to further discuss this situation.

It says not for braiddd line. Why? Can it be used for braided at all

The clipper on TYEPRO is not adequate for cutting braided line. There are shears specifically made for this purpose. Threading braided lines through eyelets with TYEPRO is very challenging for most customers primarily because these lines are so limp, making them difficult to push through the funnel and eyelet. Some customers report it is easier to do if you spray some fish attractant on the line and twist it as you push through the funnel. It is easier with heavier braided line, but still not easy to do, therefore, I don't recommend TYEPRO tools for use with these types of lines. I don't want disappointed customers.

lanyard appears to come off when using tool to tie a fly. Is there a way to keep it attached permently to a zinger on a fly vest?

there is slot on one finger you could put lanyard on.

What is the difference between the tyepro and the tyepro fly and ice?

The first is for regular fishing and the other is for flies and ice fishing.
