Rock Band: Country Track Pack - Nintendo Wii

We've had Rock Band 2 for over a year now and while I've played the occasional game, I never really got into it as much as the rest of the family.That all changed when the Country version came out - This one is great and a lot of fun. Country music fans will surely not be disappointed. There are some familiar favorites on there as well as some new ones that I've never heard before, and I considered myself a big fan of the genre. They all had a great beat, and as a Rock Band novice, I really appreciated the tutoring offered and the way you can progress in the game.Like other Rock Bands, there are four levels. Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. I could maneuver through all 21 songs on both Easy and Medium, but there seems to be a big jump from Medium to Hard. I kind of lost interest because I have the handicap of not having the reflexes of my 15-year-old daughter and not having the sixth finger needed to properly play with all five buttons.I gave it five stars with a couple of reservations - The game was a little off and it was hard to calibrate using the provided calibration tool. We eventually got it to work, but even my 15-year-old who works her way through expert says that the notes still seem to be a little off. Admittedly that could be the guitar that has gotten quite a bit of use.Other than that this is exactly what we wanted and exactly what we thought we were paying for. If you even remotely like the Rock Band concept and you like country music, you should be able to be entertained with this Track Pack. I'm just a bit disappointed it didn't come with a banjo - that would have been fun.

I have to admit that the over all game was a little insulting to country music fans. Where the other rock bands make the avatars look cool, this one make them look like a bunch of white trash, missing teeth, haven't showered in decades, bottom of the gene pool. It was obviously made by people who do not like country and do not understand what it is about. The song choices are okay. There are a few gems and even a bunch of female vocals(I am female and like girlie songs). They could have chosen much better songs from each artist with a few minor exceptions. I was very excited about the country music rock band, and had in the past, even written the company begging for it, only to be told that the demand was extremely low for one. It just felt that the people felt like making this was some sort of punishment and hated every minuet, even going out of their way to be quite insulting to country music artists as well as country music fans. Please try harder people! But if you are a die hard country fan, you're going to buy this anyway and enjoy it to the fullest, because that is what we do. Don't take my word for it, go and ask others or go and buy it yourself. I also wish there were more songs. Maybe they will come out with a sequel to this one...

We were given the Rock Band game as a gift. Since we are not rock and roll fans we didn't know many of the songs on the game it came with, so we got this one to use. Knew and loved most of the songs. Made the game lots of fun! Love that you can add many player (up to 4 I believe) so makes it fun for parties. The only down fall I have found so far is that the difference between the easy and medium setting is extreme, so once we got good at the easy and tried the medium we failed... and with the with game if your score gets low enough the song ends.

My girls (10 and 13) received this as a Christmas present. They also received Guitar Hero 3 with the wireless guitar. At first, because we didn't have it connected correctly, the game didn't work. However, after realizing what we had done, we fixed it and now the game works great. The girls love the country songs, being country girls. They have found that the easy level is too easy for them already. They only have one guitar, but have figured out how to use the controler to be the second guitar. So now they can duel each other. The songs are good and familiar to them. The characters in the background who are "singing" the songs look nothing like the performers who made the songs famous. The voices are the original artists, though. We only have the guitar, so I don't know how this works with any of the other rock band accessories. Got it for a great price too.

I own quite a selection of Rock Band and Guitar Hero games and enjoy them all. But if you want to spend a relaxing evening just having loads of fun, Rock Band Country Track Pack is a winner! It's more laid back on the whole since it is country music but I ended up enjoying the different pace. We even had some people who don't like country music, having a blast with this game. The selection of music is not exactly what I would have expected. There are a lot of good songs that are fun to play but you will find a few clunkers right off the bat that you will never play again. Not unusual though since they seem to put songs like that on all Rock Band and Guitar Hero games. I would highly recommend this game for anyone who plays Rock band or Guitar Hero for fun, those who are hard core will probably find it too tame even on expert.

I was super excited to play this. But my guitar doesn't work with this. It doesn't match up to the keys.. So I fail all the songs. Ive tried Calibrating it multiple times and itsnt working. I don't think its the game I think its just my guitar. Anyone else have issues with this? My guitar works great with my guitar hero game just not this game.

I bought this game for my wife because i love rock band and she hates it but she loves country. (and i hate it) but playing the game is fun. she has enjoyed playing all the instruments including the mic. which is a huge surprise. the only complaint i would have is that there arent very many songs but other than that the game has been a good medium for the two of us!

We bought Band Hero, a new Guiter Hero World Tour but with more mainstream music. Guitar Hero didn't have any country music games so I took a chance with buying a rock band game for a guiter hero wii equipment. Worried at first but it suprisenly worked very well. It was a great purchase. By the way, this was a christmas gift for my wife. She loves singing the music while my boys and I jam on the instruments. Great family game night!!! Highly recommend it.
