Excellent quality and durability The price was a bargain for what you can get out of this grinner blade/disc

This flap disc is the real deal. DEWALT slapped some zirconia grit on a wheel and basically handed you a surface-smoothing weapon of mass reduction. Whether you’re cleaning up welds, smoothing edges, or shaving down that "oops" cut you swore was straight—this thing handles it like a champ. Durability? Let’s just say it outlasted my attention span and my playlist. It cuts smooth, runs cool, and doesn’t shred itself to pieces halfway through a job like those bargain-bin brands. Put it on your grinder and let it work its magic. You’ll be turning rough steel into buttered toast in no time.

If you have used these before, you already know how effective flap disc sanding is. It cuts through metal, or wood, or anything else in a surprisingly quick, yet controllable manner. If you need to remove a lot of material from a flat surface this is a good way to do it, of course you should also have other sanders to prep a finished edge. This is more to burn through a lot of wood or metal and it is very coarse, so you need to be cognizant of the amount of pressure you are using. Always taper the pressure off for awhile before you move to the next grit/sander otherwise you will have some deep gouges. If you haven't used one, and you have an angle grinder, this is a good way to expand your tool-kit cost effectively. You can do alot with an angle grinder and even more if you have the right discs.

The product is great but why add special instructions for the delivery driver if they are not going to follow them. Leave on porch real simple. Not at mail box out at the road.

They grind down material real fast (and make a LOT of dust). They hold up pretty good as well. I just used one one two different flooring jobs with particleboard subflooring. One was a 9 to 10 inch wide, and 1/4 inch high ring around a toilet flange., it ground down in minutes. The second was a spot where a customer's dog would wet the floor under a desk. It was circular about twenty inches in diameter and 3/8 inches high in places. The same disk leveled it out in minutes as well. The disk looked like it had more life in it, but I pitched it anyway (it stank like dog urine).

These work great. They don't damage wood and really strip the varnish without gumming up

I use the disk with a clone All-American 5005 lawn mower blade sharpening tool. It is working much better than a grinding blade. After sharpening a dozen or so blades, the disk is still in good condition. I am very impressed.

Good wheels, have lasted well and perform well

La foto que se usa para venderlo es muy engañosa. Me llegó algo completamente diferente (una sola pieza en una bolsa, no una cajita con 10 piezas). Respecto a calidad, es buen disco, y ya. Pero nunca a ese precio tan elevado. Cuidado con la publicidad engañosa.
