Cutting Edge Performance Awaits! ✂️
The FreudLU83R008 is an 8-inch thin kerf combination blade designed for precision and efficiency. With a 5/8" arbor, 40 teeth, and a unique combination grind, it delivers smooth, splinter-free cuts while requiring less power. The laser-cut anti-vibration slots enhance stability, and the Perma-Shield coating protects against corrosion and pitch build-up, ensuring a longer blade life.

Great thin kerf blade
nice flat blade. Cuts very cleanly and stays fairly sharp.Always try to use Freud thin kerf for all my solid wood projects. Other blades are better for ply or platics

Good everyday blade
I use this blade on my dewalt saw and it really is a good all around blade for almost any task on a jobsite saw.

Slim kerf (thin blade), quiet, and smooth cutting in table saw.
My last blade was purchased in 2015 and I used the heck out of it. While it would still cut I felt it was time. Man-o-wow-wee - it's like a hot knife through butter. Oak and maple - I just slow down a tiny bit - smooth cuts and no kickback tendency. These Freud blades are great for money. Fits my Craftsman table saw and cuts great.

Good allrounder for table saw not so good on my mitre saw
This is my third review of a freud saw blade. I like this blade on my table saw but it is unsuitable for my sliding compound mitre saw. The blade cuts beautifully on the table saw but it is undersize which is a problem on my Hitachi sliding compound saw model CF10FSH. Its only 9-3/4" diameter, 1/4" undersize doesn't make much difference on table saw but on a mitre saw it will not complete the cut without moving the fence forward or modifying the depth stop so the blade goes down far enough to complete the cut. The Hitachi saw would be happier with a 10-1/4" (260mm) diameter blade, I had to modify the depth stop, not just adjust it so it would allow the blade to go lower as the fence would not come forward enough to complete the cut. The blade cuts very well on my table saw and leaves excellent smooth cuts. Just a note my table saw is a Tanner brand made in New Zealand in the 1950-60's which I renovated and works beautifully, so I can't say this saw blade would work perfectly on X, Y or Z brand saw but for me it is good

Sharp, quiet, quick delivery.
Almost everything you’d expect from Freud. On the first rip cut I heard something go through my dust collection system that was clearly not wood dust. I finish the cut and a blade tooth was missing. It still cuts amazing though. Handles 4/4 hard maple no problem. I’ve always bought Freud and will continue to do so.

Excellent blade
What’s not to like. Freud blades have always been great and this one being super thin, is no different. Had to resaw some 2” oak for a project. Blade handled it like a hot knife though butter.

I’ve used it a lit
I have a 15A Dewalt TS and I switch out blades frequently in order to get max performance. I’m not cutting plywood or 3/4” wood very often!I got this blade to perform cross cuts on edge grain cutting boards in order to create strips for end grain cutting boards. I don’t use a sled, but utilize the saw’s fence for these cuts.Generally each crosscut is 12-13” of 2.25” of maple, walnut, cherry, as well as denser, harder woods such as afrormosia. I have made about 75 cutting boards the past several months and I’m immensely impressed with this blade. Several hundred cuts and very rarely is a cut less than perfect and needs adjustment with a hand plane. Highly recommend.

A reasonably priced blade with excellent performance
I needed a good affordable combination blade for my 22-year-old Craftsman contractor table saw.Based on reviews on Amazon and other sources I purchased the Freud 10 In. 50 Tooth Thin Kerf Combination Saw Blade. After installing and aligning the blade, I did some test cuts using Whitewood and pressure treated 2x4s as well as some 3/4-inch oak. Later I needed to cut some 9/16-inch OSB plywood for a project I was working on. In each case the blade performed flawlessly resulting in remarkably smooth edges and no tear out while both ripping and cross-cutting.The laser cuts greatly reduces vibration and to some extent noise. The key to clean cuts is pushing the wood through at a consistent feed rate. It helps greatly to know the rate that works best for your particular saw. This will reduce the chances of burning the wood or bogging down the motor. This blade surpasses any of the previous blades I have used in my saw. It is a reasonably priced product that I would recommend to anyone without hesitation.

Wonderful blade
Mounted on a portable contractor saw with 120 V 13 amp motor. Used it to cut up salvaged 3/4 thick oak flooring into framing material (for pictures) including a deep dado - Blade was sharp, true and went through the wood much easier than the older general purpose blade I had been using. Very happy to make the change. I will definitely be getting one for my shop saw as well.

Great thin-kerf blade
The blade is thin enough to save wood during cuts but also rigid enough to avoid flexing during the cut. A very versatile addition to the workshop.
