It’s easy to use, even for beginners
This Crimping Tool is an excellent tool for precise and consistent crimps. It’s easy to use, even for beginners, and produces clean, professional-quality connections every time. The ratcheting mechanism works smoothly, and the jaws are well-aligned for Dupont-style terminals. It feels solid and comfortable in hand, making longer projects much easier. Fantastic value for the quality

Absolute best tool for the money; incredible time saver for anyone doing hobby or automotive wiring; trash those needle nose!
These pin crimpers are truly a gift. They have saved me an immeasurable amount of time and frustration with every wiring project I do.Normally I pride myself on my electrical knowledge and custom wiring jobs, but any time I've had to actually repin a harness myself, I've hated life because all I've had to use are needle nose pliers to manually crimp pins onto wires, resulting in loose wires, pins coming off inside sockets, and incredible amounts of rage.I was skeptical at first about these crimpers because most wiring guys I know recommend ones that cost double or three times as much as these and have different swappable heads and everything that's much more complicated than these. I decided to try them out and I am so glad I did.Using 18ga wire with pretty common pins, I was able to crimp pins in maybe a few seconds. The pin just easily slides right into the crimper and it's stepped so you can crimp the insulation and wire at the same time. Squeeze the handles and presto, you've got yourself a neatly crimped wire with a secure pin on the end.I cannot find a single flaw with these. They perform excellently, they feel great in the hands, the ratcheting mechanism is nice to actually control how tight of a crimp you want, it's extremely easy to use, and it's as inexpensive as can be. I will recommend these to absolutely anyone and everyone looking for something to do this job. The pictures they post are entirely accurate. I'll probably end up buying another set just to keep at work.My only regret is not buying these before I just finished up making a harness that required 60 pins crimped on. I did them all with needle nose pliers and my hands haven't forgotten it. Needless to say, I'll be using this tool for a long time!

Watch a video before you use it. No instructions included.
Worked fine for putting 2.54 mm female pin connectors on to connect to my CNC routers GRBL board once I figured out how to adjust it and load the pins properly.I labeled the tool head with a sharpie to make it simpler. I had to adjust the tool to full “loose” or negative to not mash the pin too far.See pics.

Excellent Crimper.
HiBought this crimper based on the positive reviews. My experience with it is limited to the Molex Sl Female connectors Molex 022-55-21-22. I bought for this purpose the recommended (and expensive) Molex "Service Grade" crimper. An over-engineered product. Solid perhaps but complicated (IMHO) to use and whose crimping process takes waaaay too long... I got discouraged just setting the conductor up and tried on a whim this IWISS crimper. Suprise !!!! It works IMO better than the Molex. The process of crimping the connector is simple if a bit odd: You have to put the tool upside down and the connectors too . A a label to let people know would have helped... Maybe :).. The crimp is clean and good.. You won't yank the conductor out and it slides in the Dupond or Molex housing with ease...Incredible , inexpensive crimper. Highly recommended for the Molex 022-55-21-22! I haven't used on any other connector but believe it will work the same, that is: Well... I am buying a few. At that price (1/6 of the Molex's) I can't do any wrong.P.S> Warning : It is not sold with any connector .. The picture would have suggested that is is so.

Works Well
Works great with the crimps from the same brand. Easy to operate and feels sturdy. There was some oil or something wet over the hinges that got on the handles, but not too big of a deal.

Works great for Molex KK 254 series connectors
I was looking for an alternative to the $300 Molex hand crimper and I'm glad this tool works for less than 1/10 the cost. We use the small Molex 0.1 KK 254 series connectors ( 0022012027) that use crimp terminals like their part# 0008550101. As another review said, the tool doesn't have instructions so you need to figure out how to use it.The basic steps I found are to:1. Cut the crimp terminal but leave some of the flashings on either side of the compressible pin to give you a guide when inserting the connector.2. Insert the connector in the small 28-24 crimper, with the open end down to the fixed part of the fixture (like the 2nd photo shows), so the flashing is flush with the edge of the fixture (as seen in phone 1). Slowly ratchet the crimper to hold the connector in place, but not starting to compress the terminals.3. Insert the stripped wire from the opposite side into the pin.4. Ratchet down the crimper to compress the terminal.5. You will end up with a neat crimped connector as seen in photo 3. You can then trim the flashing on either side of the pin.

Well made, works well
Well made and works flawlessly. A previous model I had purchased would always lock the finished crimp into the jaws and couldn't be removed without destroying the terminal. This model does a perfect job everytime.

Really good (if you're not expecting proper instructions on adjustment or use)
Good quality crimping pliers, but the included instructions are pretty lacking. There are no mentions about the +/- adjustment that appears on the pliers, nor how to properly adjust them outside of "Crimping tool may need adjusting" appearing in the troubleshooting section and the features stating that they're readjustable.
