40+ years ago I found the Pentel 5 & 7mm pencil to be extremely well made, durable and a pleasure to use. Feel in love with it all over and the build quality is the same - excellent.Sometimes a pencil is just the correct tool.Only 40 years ago it was not design for heavy duty erasing task - make fewer mistakes or get a Pink Pearl eraser.

I had one for 20 years before I lost it. Great pencils and good for small writting.

I’ve been using these for the last 45 years and they are just the same quality as the current ones. I don’t like working daily with junky tools so these are great. I used to use the .5mm ones, but the leads break too often, .7mm is much better for me.

These come from an American manufacturer I've always associated with high-quality writing implements. After buying and throwing away useless examples from Great Britain, it was nice to see an American product that seemed to work as advertised. I am not sure of the durability since they have only been lightly used. They are a bit slender and light to be really comfortable to use, but they are not at all unpleasant. I expect to get a lot of use from them. And they are reasonably priced.

Really do love these pencils. As long as I don't lose them they hold up for years and years. Easy to hold and write and lead thickness is perfect for me for note taking.

Used these for several decades. Easy to use and refill with lead, and erasers.
