Are these any good for using with coins, to determine silver or cupro-nickel?

Silver and Cupro-Nickel are NOT magnetic so these coins would not "stick" to any magnet. The only time they will stick is if the coins contain steel/iron/graphite. Some coins from the UK Royal Mint did at certain manufacture times contain steel. In 1992 the manufacture of 1p and 2p coins were changed from bronze to copper-plated steel so would "stick" to a magnet, any magnet. In 2011 the manufacture of 5p and 10p coins were changed from cupro-nickel to nickel-plated steel, so again, would stick to a magnet.

How do you open the box !?

I no longer have the box or I would’ve shown you on video. One side of the clear box has a little latch that clicks into place to close. It’s a bit hard to open at first but you can sort of press inwards on the bottom part quite hard and our should loosen.

Can these be used inside the flap of a handbag to secure it to the body of the bag?

Yes if there are metal parts for the magnetic attraction. They are strong magnets.

Can these magnets stick to each other n/s? i need to make sure i can attach some accessories to a prop i am making. would like to know before buying.

Yes they do. They can all stack onto each other which is really neat and easy to organise. They are very strong little magnets and easily the best I have come across ever.
