Very sturdy with a good sheath. These are not high quality knives, but I bought them to put in survival kits. They are way more than adequate for this purpose. I will be buying four more of them.

Knife was pretty good sized and came sharp, but wished the paracord came in different colors for variety. The sheathe could've had better retention, since you're able to pull it out, even when it's buttoned and secured (might be a plus, depending on deployment factors). Probably not the best of those out there, but still reliable, nonetheless. Definitely recommended as a starter camp knife.

Stay clear of this one. The Chinese mystery steel doesn't hold an edge, the ergonomics are a nightmare, the sheath is trash, the knife came dull, and it can't even handle moderate use, much less the stress of a survival situation.

Have carried this knife around the world for many, many years. Just bought a new one for my grandson. This is more than just a knife. Thank God I have never needed the paracord on any of my adventures but it is comforting to always know it is there if needed. The blade is sharp, the knife is sturdy, the saw blade amazingly comes in handy and the fire starter is a plus. It has been hiking in Peru, up Kilimanjaro, to Everest base camp, around the Wonderland Trail twice and into the Boundary Waters/Quetico wilderness 11 times. Has never failed me and is my constant companion.

Bought this as a gift for a fundraiser, so I was not able to open it or anything, but I really liked the weight, is was a good nice heavy weight, and the blade looked really high quality through the packaging. Probably best I wasnt able to touch the blade since I am the Queen of All Things Klutzy!! Recommended by my sister who does a lot of camping. I got a lot of oooh's and aaah's and "you didnt have to spend so much on it" which is really cool!

It's ok. Pros The blade seems sturdy enough. Decent size part serrated. Flat and slim. Cons Cord wrap doesn't seem that tight. There is not much of a guard to keep your hands from slipping onto the blade. The snap on the sheath is very hard to open, it often requires two hands; to hold one side down and to open the other. I also feel like the snap is going to rip out of the material at some point. Maybe as a back up, certainly not for daily use. If you need a decent size flat knife and are going to make another sheath for it, it could be good for your purpose. For me I think it's mostly going in a drawer.

You get what you pay for thats all I'm gonna say.

Great little knife for my emergency kit, comes with a sheath and a fire starter, but the starter rod is cheap, there is no magnesium, just iron and a few other elements. (We have an XRF Tester)
