Made my hair so soft & silky, and brought back life into my waves. Eliminated all the brass due to the hard water minerals in my shower. I used to tone my ends with a $30+ semi permanent dye, that only lasted a few washes, because I dreaded the orange hues in my naturally ash brown hair. Since I learned about hard water deposits that may be the culprit, I figured I'd give it a try, and now I will only be using this treatment when needed. I combined with the Malibu hard water wellness shampoo, and followed with my regular deep conditioner. Highly recommend if you have hard water.

I have a short pixie style haircut that is light white with brassy tones in bangs. I use flat iron on low but use heat protectants. City water that is filtered in our home. Well known in our small town that we have horrible drinking water and most filter it. Pros: Made hair very soft Gave my hair body Some shine Easy to use Cons: Did not remove brassy color/no color change Seems you have better luck leaving on 10 min versus 5 in directions This might take several treatments??? I ordered 2 packets so will wait a week and try again for 10 minutes as those with favorable results used it that long. But for the body, shine and softness~I give it 4 stars and will buy again. I do feel it left my hair in better condition

My city has extremely hard water, and I currently can't afford a water softening system. I also can't use most of the chelating shampoos and conditioners out there because I need fragrance free products, and even Malibu C's Hard Water Wellness shampoo and conditioner are heavily scented. However, these packets are not. They provide a completely unscented and convenient solution to the mineral buildup I was getting on my hair. I followed the product directions exactly, and these solve the mineral buildup every time. I've started using one of these every one or two weeks, and my hair is now much softer, lighter, and no nasty feeling minerals! Highly recommend!

Oh my goodness! I cannot say enough how this product is simply amazing! The very 1st use, I immediately felt the difference. As soon as I applied the product, I could feel the build-up being stripped from my hair. I highlight my hair, and it didn't impact my color in any negative way whatsoever! I left my hair clean & soft. It wasn't a 'fly away' soft, it was a 'healthy' soft, where the hair is still manageable. My hair is very thin & fine, but this product made all the difference in the world. Actually looked and felt like I had more volume.

If you have demi-permanant dye in your hair or toner, and did not use this product right before your salon visit, do not use this product until right before you go back to the salon. On the other hand, if you want to strip your color, do use this product. I went to the salon 8 days prior to using this. I did my research first. I'm actually a bit obsessive about researching so it prolongs purchasing things. I've wanted to use a clarifier for a while, since I learned about them, because I have very hard well water. This one was the winner for me. My hair is primarily bleached, with root growth of about 5 months that I get highlighted regularly to blend. Then it gets toned to different shades, depending on what I'm going for. This product, on one hand is amazing. My hair has never felt so clean. My natural hair that has grown in since fully bleaching my hair was shiny, smooth, and beautiful. What I wasn't expecting was for the rest of my hair to be completely stripped back to the bleach only. It went from a creamy chocolate (stunning blonde; I highly recommend trying that color toner) to a super light, summer blonde. After reaching out to malibu c on their Facebook page, they informed me that if I didn't use this treatment on my hair prior to getting it done, the color would sit on the mineral buildup and therefore come off with it. I greatly appreciate their feedback and learning this. I asked if they would consider putting this information in their directions or product description. They did not respond. So, while I don't leave long reviews typically, I'd like others who research products to be able to take into consideration there is a time to use Malibu C hardwater treatment, and it is not after going to the salon and paying for the hair you want, it is before. I will continue to use this product because it is amazing, albeit at the right time. I gave it 3 stars for the misleading information which caused me to wash $$$ down the drain but the treatment itself is 5 stars.

I am beyond impressed with this treatment!! I have dyed blonde long, curly hair. I could feel the difference before I even combed it out while wet. SO SOFT AND MANAGEABLE. My curls are bouncy again and did not mess with my color in any way. I placed an order today for another treatment and the shampoo and conditioner. I am a loyal fan now!

Siempre es un acierto este producto. Si necesitas un detox porque el agua de tu zona es muy dura, este producto te ayudará bastante. Siempre lo uso antes de tratamientos de peluquería para ayudar al cabello a absorberlos mejor.

Ne correspond pas à ma commande et quantité MINUSCULE!! : j'ai commandé le Malibu C Hard Water avec la mention "élimine les minéraux pour purifier les cheveux" comme indiqué sur les photos car mon eau est très calcaire, or j'ai reçu celui-ci: "élimine la décoloration et restaure le volume et le lustre éclatant"! (voir photo) mes cheveux ne sont même pas décolorés. De plus l'emballage est MINUSCULE, il tient dans la paume d'une main d'enfant de 3 ans sans dépasser!! (la taille de l'emballage fait environ 5cmx7cm pas plus donc ridicule pour le prix!)

Was somewhat doubtful but one use and I’m hooked!! Left my hair soft, less knots and lasted for quite a while! Definitely a need if you are on a well or really hard water!
