Strong durable case that will protect your switch.
This case is for people who want to transport their Switch hardware safely, including not just the system but also all its peripherals. There is space in the case for items that a smaller case wouldn't be able to fit--including a pro controller, a dock (aka the toaster unit), and more. This means the case is quite large, which could be impractical if you are only wanting to transport the core hardware, so this is really for people who want to carry all the items. It's bigger than a lunchbox but smaller than a briefcase. One benefit of being so large is that in addition to being able to store peripherals like a pro controller, it also has more space for small items. 21 snug little game case holders (you could also store similarly sized items in them like sd cards) and a zippable area under the top of the case where I could see myself storing papers, pencils, or other items that could be convenient to store with the switch case.Up to now when I travel with my switch, I have used a smaller case which only fits the system and some joy-cons, and I would bring the cables and dock and pro controller in a separate bag. For me I still think there is value in those smaller cases for smaller trips, but for longer trips that require more security or more peripherals like your pro controller, this one is probably more applicable. Being able to lock it gives me more peace of mind that people won't be able to snoop through it (it's also good it doesn't have any branding that suggests there is an expensive gaming system + games inside). The case is very sturdy and durable, I get the feeling that I could throw it across the room and it would still protect its innards (but I'm not gonna try it lol). I also think it could do a good job protecting your switch from a large item leaning against or lying on the case. I do wish the inner cushion were one chunk instead of three layers glued together but I guess it doesn't matter. The case itself feels premium to me. The handle is firmly attached, and it comes with an adjustable-length sash so you can hang it over your shoulder and don't need to hold it in your hand. If I ever lost my switch or got rid of it, I would be happy to remove the styrofoam and use the case to protect other items. I also appreciate that it comes with a screen protector. I already have a screen protector on my switch but I passed it on to my brother for his one.I would recommend this case to anybody who is looking for a comprehensive case for all their switch hardware, so they don't have to worry about carrying cords and a dock separately. The fact that the case is unmarked and can lock is also a nice bonus.

Solid Case
So I decided to buy another one of these as there are 2 Switches in the house now. It seems they updated the design!>Less bulky overall>Can fit more variety of controllers>Does have less cartridge holders and accessory spaceOverall interesting change and I appreciate being able to pack 3 controllers with me!Review for the old version below:Decided to buy this case because I'm traveling soon. Overall, I quite like the design! I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of the entire package. Starting from the outside:>Color-wise, it's plain, which I think is a good thing when it comes to travel.>The materials used for the outer case are sturdy and feel like the price you pay. This includes the strap, which feels abnormally premium (like a really nice seatbelt), but the same couldn't be said about shoulder pad. I think it should be better padded, but it gets the job done. The weight of the case fully loaded isn't particularly heavy, but I could imagine it getting irritating over time.>The hand grip is also surprisingly premium feeling, and is quite grippy. I think the looks kind of detract from the overall package, but it really does feel better than it looks.>TSA lock is a nice touch. It functions much the same as any decent TSA lock so I can't argue with it.Now for the Inside:>Inside pocket feels padded, which is good. Inner zipper handle is also made of a harder rubber, which should prevent scratches. It's not super deep, though, so it's only really good for cables and other small accessories.>21 cartridge holder!!! Really awesome, since I go physical for most of my Switch titles! It doubles as padding and a divider to separate and protect what's below it.And for the main attraction: Foam!>The foam quality could be better; it's not the best but it does get the job done. It bends a bit at the thinner parts, but doesn't have much give on the thicker areas.>Cutouts are very clean and precise. The Switch, dock, and controller cutouts will fit everything tightly. You get a bit more play with the switch dock, but not a whole lot. It can fit an HDMI cable in there, but that might be better off in the zipper pocket.>Cutouts are also only cut with 1st party controllers in mind. The wired Hori controller and wireless Power A controller wouldn't fit at all. However, the wired Power A controller could just barely fit without the thumbsticks attached.>Either orientation will work when putting controllers in. I prefer them faced down.>The Default configuration is solid and will hold everything shown in the product page pretty snuggly. My go-to configuration, however, allows me to fit a second set of Joycons + grip. It helps to have a travel dock which fits far better than the standard dock, and can even accompany the charger in the same slot.>Foam is easily removable, meaning you can put your own foam cutouts in, or just remove it and use it for something else.Overall, it's a very solid case and I'm quite content with the purchase!
