Do you have to auto tune a Samsung tv with this or just literally plug and play and your tv finds your Dreamcast instantly ?

All you have to do is select which HDMI input you have plugged it into on your Tv's source list. The Dreamcast should sync with the tv just fine.

Will hdmi converter work on Samsung 4ktv 49 inch

I can’t see why it won’t. I’m using it on a Samsung 43 inch 4K tv. All it’s doing is allowing for an HDMI lead to connect to a Dreamcast so performance shouldn’t be an issue on a different tv.

Audio is really over compressed, loud and distorted. Is this normal?

No this is not normal. My audio is perfectly fine. I’ve had no issues with any kind of distortedness with audio or video

Reviewers elsewhere on Youtube have mentioned vertical banding / static vertical lines evenly distributed, is this a byproduct of the cable?

Apologies we have not been made aware of any vertical banding / static vertical lines with this adapter. We have not had any returns for this issue either. I will look into and pass it onto our dev team. However we have done hours of testing and not seen this issue before. Thank you, Kaico
