Swiftwick- ASPIRE Crew Cycling Socks, Firm Compression Fit, Moisture Wicking

I'm going to be totally honest... I don't usually wear socks, and when I do, they are usually an afterthought. Don't get me wrong... in my younger years I was very much a "happy" socks kind-of-guy, adding a bit of fun and joy every day with my three-piece suits. But as I have matured, I've become a bit more happy-go-lucky with my foot-flair. Sadly, I've also managed to become less active, less in-shape, and less healthy, and so I have taken to my bicycle to help remedy the situation. News flash: dress socks and bike cleats don't fully cooperate! Thus began my quest for newer, better socks that might make my rides more comfortable. After reviewing a multitude of options, and trying several, I happened across these socks. I'll admit, I was a bit taken aback initially at the cost, but after trashing several previous pair from other manufacturers because they couldn't even stand up to a single ride, I took the plunge. I chose the bright yellow because my mother is constantly worrying that I will be run over by a car. I tried out the socks on a ride the same day they arrived... and I immediately proceeded to purchase a 3-pack. For my purposes, these socks are truly amazing... and let me tell you why. * Construction: (A+). Upon donning the socks, unlike many others, they had the perfect amount of stretch, and did NOT tear. * Fit: (A). The socks have heel and toe pockets that align almost perfectly with where my heels and toes are placed on my feet. They were neither too small, nor too large, and rose majestically to the perfect height, mid-calf. * Comfort: (A+). These socks feel like they are gently hugging my feet with just the right amount of compression. Not only that, they are SOFT! * Performance: (A+). No matter how long I ride my bike, my feet still feel warm and dry. * Sturdiness: (A+). I've washed these socks several times, and they have not pilled up, or shrunk, or thinned, or lost their elasticity. * Looks: (A+). Let's face it... I'm an adult man riding a bike wearing shorts with long, florescent yellow socks pulled up. I look like I should be in the International Male catalog! * Cost: (B). They might seem expensive, but they are worth every single penny.

I’ve tried many different brands of cycling socks—high-end and low-end— and these are the sweet spot. They’re very comfortable, breathable, and easy to put on and take off after a long ride. The length is just right. The material is really comfortable, and there’s something about a clean, white, crisp pair of cycling socks that feels great. I love the extra padding around the ankle, which helps prevent the shoes from rubbing. These are my new standard for cycling socks.

Even though it was my fault for not trying on the product during the return period, they still offered to fully refund my order. I love companies that stand behind their products and are willing to make things right. I will continue to buy Swiftwick socks, but I will make sure and try them on as soon as I get them, just in case. :) *Original Review* Ive ordered these exact socks before and love them. I've always ordered large and bought some new ones recently. However, 4 of the 6 socks show to be a large (red L on the bottom), but fit like an XL (they are like tube socks on me and come up almost to my knees!). The other 2 fit like a large. Very strange. Unfortunately I was not riding at the time I bought them, and now that I've tried them on, and found they are too big, it is beyond the return window. Buyer beware.

Best sock I have found for work and exercise... After trying many styles of sock, this one keeps my feet dry throughout the day.

Love these socks. I use them for running. They are super comfortable and light. They have never caused blisters and don’t shift or bunch up. Only down side is they wear out sooner than other socks.

Love these socks - to me they are the gold standard for cycling. Perfect weight for nicer weather. Very comfortable and look great too.

Best cycling sock for hot weather, these are replacing a pair that are several years old. Highly recommend

I bought these for my daughter who plays high school and club lacrosse. She loves the lightweight feel combined with the coolness with the added benefit of compression. They wash well and do not seem to retain any of the sports stink that parents of high school athletes are all too familiar with. They are expensive but despite the price - I just ordered another 3 pair for her.

Decent deal for excellent socks.

Reduced feet numbing

Socks worked well even after nth number of washes. But price higher compared to the socks I bought from Decathlon (please see picture). I have been wearing this pair of Decathlon socks for trekking and cycling, which turned out the pair worked very well for me during my cycling (between 50km and 70km rides on road and PCNs).
